Not all the keys open the doors so I am selling the doors as is and they may need either cleaned or new locks as they have not been used in years. Vintage Wicker Hanging Shelves With Doors- Shabby N Chic
For sale is a vintage wicker shelf unit with doors for the bathroom/ bedroom( The piece is in solid. Good condition. The color is a mild rose. The piece measures 19 inches across. 23 inches high, and is 8 1/4 inches deep(two front knobs add another 3/4 of an inch) There are three equally spaced shelves. The two doors open and close easily and catch on a magnetic catch. The back has two strong hangers attached. There are no holes except for one which is in the back- please see the last picture. Please scroll down under this description for additional views. Vintage handmade cabinet from a local estate. 23 3/4" tall to the top of the carved crest. 18 1/4" by 5 1/4" at the base. There is glass in both doors and at the sides, a single brass doorknob and two wooden shelves inside with approximately 5 1/2" of height between shelves. Although I don't know where the piece was made, the design is definitely French Country. The wood has a warm medium walnut stain but it could certainly be refinished or even painted to suit your decor- a chalky off-white or lime wax would be beautiful and you can always change out the knob. There are holes on the back wall for wall mounting but this would also look beautiful sitting on a table or desk. All the drawers open and when the bottom drawer opens it releases a mechanism that plays a nice tune. The winding handle for the musical mechanism is on the back. The box stands on four feet. The box retains its original brass hinges. The box is in vey good condition for its age with just a few minor blemishes which don't detract and are a part of the history of the box. For some reason, I am not able to wind the clock as the chain may be hooked on something and need adjusting. Therefore, everything seems to work but it will need some adjustments that I can not do. LOCAL PICKUP IN UPSTATE NEW YORK. This old painted cupboard came out of a kitchen in a Victorian house we are remodeling. It could date from the 1920's or 30's when other renovation work was done to make this one family into a two family home. It stood on a counter that had a cupboard below it. I am selling the doors to the lower cupboard in a separate auction. The cupboard stands approx. 72 1/2" hi gh x 52 1/2" wide x 16" deep and has three board shelves. The two doors have six panes of glass each with one pane cracked. They measure 15 1/2" x 31" The cupboard looks like it's pine covered with four or five coats of paint. There is no back to the cupboard. The hinges and pulls are not original. Probably from the 40's or 50's. The 10 US#1 size postal doors are brass and bronze doors. All in great condition. The doors have not been cleaned and are in same condition taken out of post offices around the country. They can be opened with a three letter combination just like a combination padlock. They have a hinged frame, that can be mounted into a wood box. The doors have all parts and they have no broken parts. The doors are 3 1/2" wide 5" tall. The doors are made in the 50's to the early 70's at this point in history the Post Office stopped making brass and bronze in favor of the cheaper aluminum doors
