These are quality handles from Spain in a Mediterranean style yet not overly ornate. The star at the base reminds me of a Maltese cross. And the top and bottom are designed in what appears to be a torch flame. There show no wear. So I don't think they were ever used. Vintage advert for the Doors Elektra Recording Artists concert at Village Theatere on Saturday September 9. 1967. Measures roughly 17" x 11 1/2" Adding to it's rarity. This was taken from an Underground Newspaper called The Other East Village and the paper used for The Doors advertisement is made from that same paper. Tickets were $3.50 and were available at The Village Theatre. The concert advert shows wear. Including a light spill that occurred at one time, looks like coffee dripped across one portion as well as a light water stain in the upper right hand corner. Owner said these were salvaged from the Old Talbott Tavern renovation. In my research they do have the same architechural style of the doors in the old Tavern. Great for any doorway. Vintage cupboard with 4 doors. Porcelian knobs. Nice look.
This is another nice piece found this weekend. This one has 4 doors on it. The one on the bottom is larger than the others. The first 3 on top have a little metal strip like when you lift the door. There is no back on this piece so not sure of the purpose of the piece. It has the little shelves inside. Has the nice little porcelian knobs that appear to have some age to the piece. Its 16" high and 13 wide and 5 deep. Any ideas on the use I would appreciate the feedback to pass along to customers. Thank you for looking.

And continues to be, one of the most popular and influential singer-songwriters in rock history. To this day he is widely regarded as the prototypical rock-star thanks to his songwriting. Voice, wild personality and performances, and untimely death at the age of 27. These six negatives were shot at a Doors concert circa 1969. But I don't know the exact venue. Four photos are of Jim Morrison with one of guitarist Robby Krieger, and one of drummer John Densmore. The scans I have provided in this listing were taken directly from the negatives and reversed in Photoshop, so they are extremely grainy, blown-out, and the color is off by a mile. Each door is made of either solid pine or Douglas Fir, and features 3 glass lites and 3 panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder ... moreand stronger than young pine. Height/Width: The heights of Doors#4. 5 and#6; and the width of Door#6 are unevenly cut. The cabinet measurements are as follows: 7 feet 11 inches LONG 27.5 inches WIDE 42.5 inches TALL This is an oak and glass cabinet with sliding doors in the back. Two of the doors are mirrored and two are not and appear to have been stripped and un-stained. The top glass is very thick and beveled with some scratches on the top.
