The signature on the back looks like"Paul M Green" who I assume made this door knocker. It measures 7 1/4 inches by 7 7/8 inches and is 4 inches at its highest point. This is an old brass door knocker in the form of Falstaff(I think) it has a Registered No. 647861 which makes me think it is Victorian/ Edwardian in age. The back plate is 10 cm from top to bottom. T he knocker is in very good condition for its age as seen in the photos- it hasn't been polished in a while and has a bit of a patina although it wouldn't take much polishing to brighten it up- the fixing pin firmly holds the two pieces together- not much play. Vintage Antique Flower Pot Door Knocker 1920's
This antique door knocker was recovered from a renovation of an old building in Richmond. Va that was built in the 1920's. The door knocker does not show any markings but I believe it to be just as old as the building. It has been painted over. I also put a picture of the door it was salvaged from showing the tounge and groove design. This is a great piece for any restoration project.

I believe this is quite old, certainly has had a lot of use through the years. On left side of ring the patina is nicely worn from years of use and the gold color shows through the outer patina. The back of the bottom ring is flattened from striking the door surface. On the back of the ring is stamped two words.first looks like noonnoo( and then ENGLAND. Two threaded mounting holes on back.not sure of size bolt. Took lots of pictures for you to see the knocker. VINTAGE BRONZE BRASS CAST BPOE ELKS CLUB DOOR KNOCKER NEW YORK
Original and extremely rare BPOE(The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks) bronze and brass door knocker. It appears that the knocker and half cylinder point where the knocker hits are bronze and that the rest may be brass. I honestly am not certain how to tell them apart other than color. This item has not been cleaned in over 40 years. Guaranteed. The patina is original and has not been artificially enhanced. There are areas where some green oxidation exists, mostly around the hinge of knocker and on the BPOE letters. Weight is over 3.5 pounds and the piece measures 12 inches in height and just under 4" in width. The back plate has no identifying marks I can find other than S4008. The elks head is high relief and the 11th hour clock slides side to side to expose a keyhole. There are no cracks in the casting and all connected parts ... moreremain connected as they should. I have a minimal story explaining where it has been for at least 45 years but that is it. I obtained this in 1990 doing a home inspection in Jamaica. Queens Borough, New York City. There was a detached garage about to fall down and this was screwed to the wall on the outside. I asked the owner about it and she stated that it was there when she bought the house in 1970 and that I could have it if I wanted. The condition is exactly as it was when I found it after spending at least 20 years exposed to the elements on her garage. That little mark on the bottom left of the circular knocker may not have been there but I believe it was. There was only one Elks Club in Queens County and it was located on Queens Blvd in Elmhurst. At one time, it was one of the largest on the east coast and it was Lodge#878. That is the extent of what I know. Very uncommon and decorative. Shipping will include insurance

Vintage Antique Edwards Door Chime Two-Tone Knocker
This very unique Vintage Antique Edwards Door Chime Two-Tone Knocker is in great used condition. The box on the inside of the door measures approximately 6 1/2" x 3" x 1 7/8" deep and the knocker measures approximately 5 1/2" x 3 3/8" There is a last check mirror on the box for the inside of the door. The mirror definitely show wear. Along with some stain remnants around the edging of the box and knocker. The knocker lifts slightly to activate a beautiful sounding two-tone door chime. This old chime is best to be heard because no words does it justice. Please see pics closely and ask any questions as this is sold as is.
