This will certainly be a stunning light fixture once restored. With the shades in place. The chandelier measures approximately 18 inches wide and 33 inches in length. Made of strong cast iron, it has much of its original factory finish of a color referred to as'Old Gold' with green highlights. Our posted photos show the ornate patterns in the metal of the fixture. It is especially stunning to look at the fixture from underneath the chandelier. The original sockets and remnants of cloth wiring will need to be replaced. The metal appears very ... morestrong, however, there is some surface rust on the inner surface of the canopy. The glass slip shades have no cracks and minimal chips associated with the fitter. The glass has its original painted finish on the inside of the glass and you can see from our photos that the paint has worn away in some places. Pair 1925-1935 Electric Art Deco Slip Shade Wall Sconces
This is an excellent pair of all original Art Deco slip shade wall sconces. Originally. These appear to be of a cast metal of unknown composition, and then brass plated. Since their manufacture in the late 1920's to mid 1930's, they have been painted a beige color. These sconces were originally electrified and have all of the original electrical parts/components. For safety sake, these should be properly rewired, with current materials prior to being used as intended. The metal sconces have their original frosted slip shades. These shades are perfect but one has a shiny spot where the acid did not take to frost the glass. Please see all pictures for wonderful detail. If stripped or repainted they would make a fabulous compliment to a an interior front or other doorway. Please write with questions or for more pictures.

Antique 1920's Lincoln Art Deco 5 Light Slip Shade Lamp Light Fixture Chandelier
Gorgeous signed Lincoln 5 light slip shade chandelier. Was produced in Detroit. Michigan in the mid to late 1920's. This old lamp retains all of its original Fleurette pattern glass shades. The metal parts of the fixture are cast aluminum with gold accents. The gold shows some normal and expected wear, no breaks, cracks or missing pieces. Chains are original so expect some finish loss with light oxidation, nothing horrible. There are some flea bites on the shades, most of which are of course where is slips into the fitter however I noticed a couple of shades that have tiny flakes from around the edges that are exposed but this part faces the ceiling s you'll never see them once hung. Wiring is original and looks fine but may not meet code in your area. The light can be turned off and on by a switch located in the center of the bottom. ... moreI didn't actually test the lamp but the switch snaps crisply as it should so I see no reason why it shouldn't work. There are no breaks or cracks in any of the components. This is a beautiful example that displays very nicely. Lincoln was one of the best makers at the time and can be compared to the quality found in Miller, Markel, Paramount, Beller and other quality manufacturers of the Art Deco period. Hangs about 43" from the ceiling which can of course be adjusted by adding or removing links. Metal frame about 10 1/2" wide. With the shades in place, its about 16" wide. I will be packing the shades separately from the metal fixture however both boxes will be taped together as the shipping calculator will not calculate 2 boxes. Insurance required and included in the handling fee of $12. The 2 new boxes cost me $5.50 plus the insurance will run close to $7. RARE MATCHING ANTIQUE 1930'S ART DECO 5& 3 LIGHT SLIP SHADE CHANDELIERS BY J.C. VIRDEN From the Rayburn Series. Striking antique three and five light light semi-flush mount slipper shade chandeliers. By J.C. Virden, dating from the 1930s. Aluminum with original copper and gold polychrome finish. The design features angular ziggurat details with decorative flower and vine panels. The pressed glass amber slip shades have a similar floral, vine and ziggurat details and put out a warm pleasing glow. These art deco fixtures have a unique ridged starburst canopy. Coming down in a pole to the chandelier body. Both fixtures are in as-found condition. Bought to be used in our home but we found a Lincoln set that worked better with our colors. The finish has aged to a nice patina with some light tarnish on the edges. Both would need to be rewired ... moreor I can do it for you for an additional price. No cracks or large chips. But some of the shades have natural imperfections from the glass pressing process that are not apparent when viewing from a normal chandelier viewing angle. See pic of bubble and what looks like a crack but is really not. It can't be felt with finger nail on either side. High resolution pictures of each numbered shade front. Interestingly it's listed in an antique catalog I found online as a three light and has three shades. But there are five light sockets. They look to be original with fabric covered wire. MARKEL Chevron 5 Light Semi-Flush Mount ART DECO Chandelier This fixture measures 17" across and has a 10" drop. This fixture is made of cast"Ferro Metal" Bulbs are not included. Takes standard bulbs. Ceiling dome plate is shown in last two photos. It had been covered in white paint which has been stripped. Could be painted in metallic silver and gold to match the rest of the metal if desired. Slip shades are frosted off-white and have no chips or cracks but there are a few paint stains that need to be removed. Original 1930's wiring needs to be replaced. Produced by Markel Electric Products. The model 3015 is a Late-Deco slipper-shade fixture that is both clean in its silhouette and subtle in its motifs. 1 x Original Glass Art Deco Wall Sconce/ Chandelier Slip Shade with partly stippled and frosted design. Dating from the 1920s to the 1930s I am not sure who made these. It's possible they are French or Czech. Measures almost 10" high or 25.5cm. 6 1/2" or 16.5cm at widest point and tapers down to about 2.5" or 6cm at which point the bottom rounds off. LINHOF 80 MM SLIP ON LENS SHADE THIS LENS SHADE IS FROM A COLLECTION OF MY FATHERS. HE WAS A NAVY TRAINED AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHER IN WWII. SURVIVING THAT EVENT. HE WENT ON TO MAKE A LIVING AS AN AERIAL, AND COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHER; WHILE MY MOTHER AND HE, RAISED OUR LARGE FAMILY. HE LOVED HIS LINHOF CAMERAS; AND ALWAYS CONSIDERED THEM ONE OF THE FINEST CAMERAS EVER MADE! THIS SHADE WAS IN HIS PHOTO CABINET. I FOUND IT IN THIS LINHOF BOX.
