This pair is unmarked and measure 15 1/2” by 17 1/2” They are not coated and have a nice oxidation. Should clean up nicely. Weigh nearly 10 pounds. This is a lovely pair of old Victorian shelf brackets. These antique shelf brackets are made of cast iron. These were cast in an ornate pattern with stylized flowers and repeating geometric shapes. They are each 8 3/4 inches by 6 7/8 inches by 7/8 inch at the corners. Each bracket has 6 mounting holes. At some point the shelf bracket were painted white. Some of the white paint has worn off at the edges. And there is more white paint on one side than on the other. This is a terrific pair that will look great whether you leave them as they are, repaint them, or strip and wax them.

They have been in my garage since the late 1980's when the store closed. There are scratches. Blemishes, a few have some green on them, and a little bit of dust- but this is why I am selling them so cheap! The Brackets are made from metal but I do not know what kind of metal. They are Brown or Copper in color- however I do not think they are actually made from copper. The Brackets are approximately 12" long from where the divider piece begins to the end of the Bracket. There is a little nubbin on the end to keep the shelf from slipping off. From one end of the Bracket to the complete other end is approximately 13 inches long.
