This buy it now price is for ... morea matching pair of single sconces. Same pattern but the canopies on this pair are slightly different in size. The pair on the right is for Martha. They have smaller E-25 shades. The shades on this pair as pictured are XE-40 which match the double sconces. If you prefer the smaller E-25 Holophanes on your pair then I will ship that model instead. They are all brass from around 1912 plus. Please see the other listings if you need more sconces or pendants to match these. The shades for these are period Holophanes. Some of the shades for these sconces have rib fleabites no worse than the ones by my fingers in the pictures. These wall lamps have been washed. Paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 9 inches, they are about 9 1/2 inches top to bottom with the XE-40s(with the E-25s they are 8 1/2 out and 9 top to bottom) They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are NOS Circle F porcelain fat boys Easy installation ready, the mounting hardware has been upgraded with ground. Look closely at the pictures, there are minor dings and blemishes which can be turned to the bottom behind the shades-these are not new. It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. A PAIR of Antique THEATER SCONCES Light Fixtures! Here we have very cool and very scarce find. A pair of antique light fixtures. Sconces, that I am told came out of an old theater that was being torn down. These were purchase in New York around 20 years ago. They were probably hanging on either the wall above the aisles or over the doorways into the theater. They look to be from the early part of the century to me. These lights are huge. Measuring approximately 26" long by 6" wide. Beautiful Art Nouveau. Deco flower and scroll design that would work either horizontally or vertically. They are metal with wood backing and are quite heavy. Looks like they were originally painted gold and one of them is worn more to the metal than the other. One has original inside fixture. The other needs replacing, this should be an easy find and ... morethe backs come off very easily. The last photo. although not a very good photo-sorry) show the one with the fixture lit, to give you an idea of the pretty glow they make when working. Of course even though this one worked, I would rewire it anyway. These would be amazing brought back to the original look. Although I bought them partly because I liked the original patina, either way they will be a wonderful addition to your home or business. Gas/Electric 1890 Brass Sconces- An EXCEPTIONAL PaIr!
Up for your consideration is an EXTREMELY FINE Pair of 1890's Gas/Electric sconces with their original cut frosted shades professionally rewired for use. These ornate late victorian creations feature a unique frosted brass leaf decoration on each of the heavy polished brass wallplates and pendant sockets. Both are Signed on the shade holders as shown in picture 8. PAT'D SEP.23.90, MADE IN U.S.A. The socket reads, 50C.P. 850 VOLTS, GENERAL ELECTRIC CO along with"G.E. Co" on the turn switch as shown picture 9. The 4"ORIGINAL" antique shades have luckily survived the 120 years since their manufacture with only normal fitter wear. No repairs or missing pieces! The gas jet was wired for electric use when they were rewired, hand cleaned and unlacquered. The pictures show it with a flicker type flame light that is included ... morewith this auction. This is a FANTASTIC and REALLY HEAVY vintage metal pair of GOTHIC or Medieval Double Candle Wall Sconces! REALLY IMPRESSIVE! The two candles are on an ORNATE SCROLL piece that extends out 4" and is 1" by 1/2" thick. They are very HEAVY! packed weight is 20 lbs! VERY ORNATE with four arrows and scrolls! This is very THICK metal! This piece is 10 1/4" wide and the scrolling is nearly 3/8" thick! It extends from the ORNATELY DETAILED back plate 4" and the candle holders size is 4 5/8" so you can use any candle up to that size. It also has a 1/2" rim around the candles. The back plate is LONG and measures 24 3/8" and is 5 1/8" wide and 1/2" thick. The design is in relief- or raised from the back. The design is a tall tree or plant with ORNATE scrolls. Flowers and leaves coming out of it and ... morethe base is a pedestal vase. There is a large flower on top too. The back is a black velvet like material and has two holes for the nails on top. Great condition with no breaks or dents and only a slight discoloration in the metal at the top corner of one of the sconces and a dot on the other one done when made. Some tiny raised areas but also done when made. Not noticeable. I apologize for not being able to really capture the BEAUTY of these sconces but it seems although I took a LOT of photos the full length ones came out dark on the bottom light on the top! THEY ARE ONE COLOR! They even show some green in the photos and there is no green on these pieces! It is really and truly MUCH MORE FANTASTIC IN PERSON! These are a FABULOUS ONE OF A KIND pair! These types of old American made light fixtures are becoming more and more difficult to find. Back when these were made they were made to last. This is a great pair of old light fixtures that can be used inside or out side. Each is made of a metal material. Probably cast aluminum and are black in color. Each measures 23” overall and have 8 beveled glass sides“octagon shape” with the original glass in each of the eight side. The lights were tested and both work. The wiring is cloth but still in great shape. All of the glass panels are in nice condition with one exception. One lantern has two glass panels with a small chip in the glass both chips are inside the lamp and are hardly visible. There is no damage to them otherwise only some wear from use. Each will hold an incandescent light bulb. With standard size base. I do not know their age ... moreor the manufacturer. I used them in solid brass vintage wall sconces(one double(shown) or two single(shown) which are be included; these not the original mounting hardware but they are turn of the century vintage(non European) and may need to be rewired. Arts Crafts Copper Wall Sconces Hammered Mission Original Patina Candle Holders
Up for bid is a pair of hammered copper wall sconces. These are hand hammered pieces with the original patina. Each sconce measures about 9" high and 5 1/2" wide at the widest point. As well as having the hammered margins. These have a sort of"appliqued" design in the center of the backplate. You can feel with your fingers that there are raised designs applied-very unusual. Antique Cut Crystal Silver Candelabra Sconces, maybe 19th Century, Need TLC
Amazing pair of OLD crystal sconces that were here when I bought my condo 12 years ago. Pair is the operative word. Really one and a half. The previous owners had very high-end antiques and left these on the wall. 27" tall x 16" wide. These are hard to capture in photos. No doubt these were very upscale in their day. There are various broken areas. I am not even sure I put the"good" display one together correctly, but I think it is. These have been sitting in the closet for years so I finally thought why not give a fun project to some Ebayer! Perhaps these are best parted-out. But seems like a waste for them to just be in a box. USA only! Thanks. Sconce 1) Good one. Various chips to"petals" the convex drip cups around candle holder) 2 petals missing. The reason the"petals" cracked is the candles burnt ... moretoo low and that was a bad thing! The offenders are still in place. However the piece shows very well and dramatically. An antique with antique qualities! Obviously would look better with tall candles in. Used as a single piece it could be an amazing accent to a narrow wall or column, as it is art in itself! Liberace would be proud! Sconce 2) Where to start. One arm completely missing. Top center star is affixed by what seems to be a thimble which was glued on as its mount. The sconces ... moreappear to have a burnished gold finish. The sconces have a heavy. Substantial quality, and would have originally been used in a mansion or bank. I’m uncertain as to the age of the sconces but estimate their being made between 1905 and 1925. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This set is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. The period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. Happily, I will let you know where to get them. Any flame-style bulb will also look well. The fixtures accept standard base 60W bulbs. Each sconce has an on/off switch. As I don’t trust old switches I deactivated these. This pair of vintage 60's( Italian wood wall sconces or display shelves have an elaborate carved front side and a side scroll design. There is some loss of gold/gilt on some edges. There is wear on the top shelf areas. There is no indent on the sconce/ shelf top. The sconces each measure 5 1/8" by 3 1/8" and are 7 1/8" tall. Together they weigh 1#3oz. One has a red paper label that says"made in Italy" That one has it original triangular hooks as well as an added silver metal one. The other sconce has double paper labels from Dayton's with the original price of $13.00. It has its two original triangular shape hooks.

Vintage Pair of Italian Gold Guilt Candle Sconces Tole Italy Florentine Toleware. This vintage pair of Italian gold gilt candle sconces is in excellent cosmetic condition. Showing only normal signs of age and wear. The pieces are in the Oak Leaf motif and are approximately 19 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches deep x 5 1/2 inches wide. Each sconce has its' original tin tag indicating that these were made in Italy. Great examples of Italian toleware for any Hollywood Regency setting! This item is being sold in as-is condition.
