The internal lock parts have been cleaned and checked to make sure they were in good condition and working properly. The exterior was painted in a high quality oil based gloss black paint that is very close to what the original finish would have looked like. Of course you can always repaint it in a color of your choice. This will come with a non-original working antique skeleton key. This has a keyed deadbolt and a levered deadbolt so you can lock the smaller deadbolt without using the key. This can be used as an entry or interior lock(although I would not rely on it for any real security) The lock is reversible for use on the right or left side of a door. This will come with cast iron rosette, cast iron key escutcheon, and the very nice swirl mineral door knobs pictured. No mounting screws come with it but you can easily pick them up at any home center or hardware store. It comes with its keep and 2 keys. The lock has a double turn dead bolt. Also included are a set of matching barley twist wrought iron handles complete with the square bar and pins. The lock has been painted black. Some of the paint is chipped. It has a brass plated escutcheon too. Dimensions: Lock size only without the keep. 12cm high. 7cm wide, 2cm width. The length of the handle's square shank bar is adjustable to all thicknesses of door. It may be necessary to drill extra holes in the bar so as to get the handles to fit the door. Vintage mortise lock with keeper and original working skeleton key stamped#30109- has a working thumb latch on top. This is parts from a Taylor Rim Knob Lock Set No. 3001- horizontal style. There are no knobs. No spindle, no key hole plate, no screws. The box is missing parts and pieces and is old, yellowed, worn and torn and I will flatten it for shipping. The keeper measures approximately 3 1/8" long x 3/4" wide, the lock face measures approximately 3 1/8" long x 11/16" and the part that goes inside is approximately 3 3/4" wide x 3" long and is 5/8" thick, the spindle hole is approximately 5/16" square.

I have a nice old reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring is strong and works latch. Locking lever for drive gear latch engages and disengages nicely. There is no skeleton key for deadbolt slide so you will have to use without it until one is either found or made. This is a heavier good quality box measuring 3 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches. First off. Despite the minor wear& discoloration seen on the face of a couple of the older ones. These locks are ALL in really good shape! The One Ilco Rim cylinder doesn't have the gear sticking out the back of it like the other. But the lock's still in good/working shape and that's cheap to replace if you want. Other than that.
