Up for sale is a new old stock vintage/antique electric light fixture I purchased at an estate sale. It is in perfect condition and ready to be mounted and wired up to a switch. This has a very industrial/steampunk/retro look and would look amazing on any porch or in any room. Particularly the bathroom. Very cool authentic piece of americana. Light marked Apcolite on base plate, and marked PCCO in the glass shade. When researched, PCCO yielded the Pullman Coach Company, a company based in Chicago, Illinois, long ago. VTG MISSION ARTS & CRAFTS STICKLEY ERA COPPER PORCH sconce LIGHT for RESTORATION
Here for your consideration is a strange but beautifully styled and interestingly detailed vintage Stickley era copper Mission. Arts and Crafts outdoor porch sconce lamp that dates back to the 1920's. It was formed in the shape of a stylized flower and has a fairytale quality to it. The item is 10" tall and the outmost part of the rim is 8" from the wall. The 4 1/2" diameter round backing plate has a 3/8" diameter hole for mounting it to a shallow wall box or stub from the wall(neither are included) I did not test the socket. Being sold as is.The little dents in the thin ruffled edge of the shade can be forced back into place easily as that part of the shade is quite thin. This item could be improved dramatically by a scraping and re painting. Please note:This fixture once had a protective shade for the bulb. Inside ... morethe thin punctured sleeve there are tabs the glass slid into and there is one tab that on the bottom edge that would be bent up to hold the glass up. An exactly 4" diameter glass piece would fit into it or one could bend flexible plastic or layers of mylar in that shape or have it without that protection if it is used indoors or on a deep porch. Welcome! You are bidding on a Vintage American Lantern Lamp with unusual round glass! American Made by the American Lantern Co. in Newport. Arkansas. This is a great piece of lighting in excellent vintage shape. The curved glass has a slight amber tint and is really clear and clean. The amber tint is less on the top and bottom of the glass. Looks like it fades to clear at the edges. A bit of discoloration and patina on brass and a hint of rust on the interior light sleeves and back plate. However it is unlikely to have been installed in an exposed area. Perhaps it was installed on an interior porch. Great retro porch light and wonderful design. This USA built lamp was made to last. The surface of the copper is scratched. Chipped, dirty, and has some oxidization. Two out of three set screws are froze in place and it is missing 1 of the set screws on the bottom. This auction is for a Vtg. Ceiling light fixture in Brass with an attached Heavy Hobnail Pressed glass shade in excellent used condition. There are no chips. Cracks or scratches in the beautiful glass shade and it measures 4.5 inches tall when attached by 4.5 inches across. The brass fixture measures 4 5/8 inches across on the top where it attaches to the ceiling and 2 inches high to the glass. Total from top to bottom is 6.5 inches. There is a pressed hobnail pattern all around in the glass following all the way down to the hobnail"tip" This is a very pretty light. It is a designed and made Moe light fixture. Antique Cast Iron Lot/2 Ceiling Wall Porch Light Fixture Globe Holder Vtg Pair
From a local estate. Here is a matching pair of antique ceiling or wall-mount light fixtures. Heavy cast iron, these measure about 5.75" across at the base, they extend 2 1/8" out from the wall not including the socket. Top opening inner diameter is about 3 3/8" so they will take a globe with a 3-3.25" opening. Decoration around the edges is geometric, more deco than nouveau. Condition is as found, to restore. Paint is probably original but there is significant paint loss and rust. Original sockets are included, they are free but the globe screws are stuck, I didn't try to remove them. Vintage brass flush mount porch or ceiling light. I believe it is made of brass(a magnet will not stick to it) It has a combination of an antique brass finish on part of it. And an untreated finish on the four corners. It has a very nice ornate decorative trim surrounding the bottom. Glass sides are free of chips or cracks and has a starburst etched into the center. This came from a home that was built in the mid 1960's, but I do not know if it was original to the house. It was on the inside of the home(hallway) so it is in excellent condition and in working order. It measures 8" tall x 6" x 6" square. A lantern, and a windchime.it's an all-natural piece perfect for hanging on a porch or a sheltered area outside(or wherever you like really) I think this is a big gourd- and it has carved openwork on it in the form of flowers and angels. And the little bits hanging down are dried pods and such(those longer ones look like carob pods maybe) There is a colored plastic cabochon on each side. This lantern measures about 19" high and 9" wide, not including the light cord. The light cord is a simple affair with one bulb inside the gourd.and the cord isn't very long. What you do is reach your hand up and inside from the bottom hole that is larger when you want to change the bulb.you ... morecould even do a different cord if you want although this one works great(see the photos with the light on) No on/off switch, you have to just unplug it to turn it off.
