Circa 1960 Flame mahogany Excellent overall condition Beautiful pediment Minor wear inside desk drawer, This beautiful secretaire bookcase was constructed in England sometime around 1960. The wood used is a flame mahogany which has a gorgeous grain and attractive. Warm color. Starting at the very top you will see a broken arched pediment done with attractive dentil moulding and accented with a single brass finial in the middle. This is a great way to top the bookcase section and it gives height to the piece overall. ... moreNext we come to the astragal glazed glass bookcase doors. These doors lock. Inside are two adjustable wooden shelves with a shelf depth of 9″ Just below the bookcase section is the secretaire. This pull out drawer has a drop down front which opens up to reveal a leather surface and divided storage area. The surface area of the desk is 31″ wide x 11.5″ deep and it is 30″ from the floor. Under the desk is large cabinet section hidden by two stunning flame mahogany doors. There is one removable shelf inside. The entire piece sits raised on bracket feet. The bookcase doors. Secretaire drawer, and cabinet doors all lock with the same key. This bookcase breaks down into two pieces(top and bottom) for easier moving. Description This is a nice piece was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally part of a built in armoire. It is made of oak and is mostly painted. The building it came from burned and the heat bubbled the paint and there is smoke damage. The pediment did not burn and has no smell of smoke. The breast has thick applied carved festoons. The crown has carvings as well. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. There is no return molding on the left side. There is a cracks on the backboard. We have heavy duty staples to keep it in place. The crown needs screwed into place. This furniture part or topper. Pediment etc is old but I have no date. Otherwise it is in excellent condition; wood appears to be black walnut, chestnut, or similar type dark hardwood. Size is 27" long by 4 inches high. About 1 inch thick. I bought this in New England for a project and know nothing other than the above about this piece. Blue paint looks like a recent addition, I think this piece would be much prettier stripped and refinished to show off the nice wood.

Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Pittsburgh Victorian Home. It is made of oak and is painted. It was originally part of a built in armoire. There is a shelf at the top with a crown molding below. The breast has nice carved festoons. It is 73 inches long. 12 tall and is 4.5 inches deep. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. The shelf along the top does not sit flush on the wall. ANTIQUE WALNUT VICTORIAN SPOON CARVED VINTAGE FRETWORK CORNICE FURNITURE PEDIMENT A lovely. Antique, Eastlake Victorian furniture pediment that appears to be made out of walnut. It has spoon carved decoration with has traces of gold still inside. There are spools that decorated each side and woodwork that looks like a crown. This lovely furniture pediment measures approximately 48" long x 6 1/4" high on each end and about 6 1/2" in the middle. There is about a 3" slope from the top flat part, down to the front of the spools. It appears that the blocks, in the middle next to the spools, were added recently. One of the points of the crown, in the middle, is missing and the scallop on one end is missing the top. A couple of other scallops have some damage to the wood that is not really that noticeable. There is a metal ring ... moreon each side for hanging, two screws in the back that were probably used to attach it to a piece of furniture, and the front has two nails in the wood, where someone must have hung something. One of the spools has a broken part that was probably done when the new block was added(not noticeable) Despite the flaws, this is still a very beautiful, antique, Victorian Cornice that will look great being hung and enjoyed. Up for auction is a sweet Victorian Pediment that has been further embellished with a Victorian period Roman Soldier Soldier. This pediment will make quite an impressive room greater with its wonderful old age espresso colored Walnut and burled veneers. Pediment is in excellent condition. Pediment is 44" wide at bottom and 48" wide at the top. Inside dimensions are 39"10/16" wide x 14" tall. Pediment is 23" tall to the ends and 4.5" deep at ends. The center statue adds another 2" of bump-out for about 6.5" of dimensional quality. If this is on the top of a door header you will need 17.5" of space above the door opening to fit this piece. OMG Antique Vintage FRENCH Salvage LEADED STAINED GLASS CHATEAU Chapel PEDIMENT
Vibrant colours and good quality stained glass. This window panel adorned the wall of an antique Périgord château chapelle(see lovely Paris pink rose cross) The scalloped top adds so much appeal to it! I managed to rescue two similar panels. Sadly this one is missing some bits of glass and has some minor accidents. You could have it repaired. But it has so much charm in its original condition and when the light hits this panel, you can really see how bright and vivid are still the colours! This is an antique vintage ornament. Ca. mid 1880, in NO WAY imported stained glass nor a repro by a contemporary artist! Measurements are 16"1/4 L x 12"3/4 H to the center x 10"1/4 H to the sides A true marvel.
