Easltlake Victorian, Walnut Header/Topper/Pediment
This is a nice little Eastlake Victorian walnut header or pediment piece from the top of a piece of furniture. It is solid walnut and is in very good condition. The original finish is still in place with a lot of paint specks that were caused by painters that were less than careful. The glue blocks on the back have been broken and probably should be replaced to make it sturdy. It measures 29 inches wide and 9 inches tall. There is a place on the back that appears to be a split. 1800s Tiger Oak Pierced Fretwork Arch Frame Victorian Furnitire Pediment Carving
DRAMATIC. Curved architectural salvage. Very rare to find arched pediment versus the much more common straight ones. Guaranteed to be circa 1800s. Solid quarter sawn oak construction. Countoured beveled trim all along the top. Then, directly under, are 15 repeating spindles. Directly below that is more beveled trim. Under the trim is leafy carvings that are pierced to the left and right of center. In between is a drop finial hanging below vertical grooves. It measures 40 inches long, 14 1/4 inches tall at ends and 8 3/4 inches tall in middle. Great ornate, Victorian design.There is one slight crack at far left, but wonderful overall condition. Great carvings on each piece and they came from the top section of a very large oak sideboard.

There is a small shelf at the top that is trimmed in reel and bead molding. The breast has applied carved festoons with flowers. It measures 67.75 inches wide by 8.75 inches tall and is 3.25 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Two Large 23" Pediment Topper Frieze Window or Wall Décor A set of two gold toned Pediment door or window topper or sides. They are in like new condition as they were hung on a wall in each side a window in the dining room. I believe the they are molded out of plaster or a resin. They are for indoor use. They measure 23 inches wide and 9 inches high and approx. 2 inches thick at its thickest point. These can be hung either vertically or horizontally. And hooks on the back are provided for either orientation. Please note that the right item has a couple of small scratches. About 1/8 of an inch in length. It was bought this way with the intent of simply using some gold touch up paint to cover, but once installed on the wall you could not see it, so I never bothered. And it has been working on and off(usually when it is cleaned, oiled, and leveled) It is oak. With a plain wood dial and brass hands and numbers. It has a brass pendulum on wood. And two brass weights. There are some dents on the pendulum and weights. The Weight chains need to be cleaned as well. The Brass has not been cleaned. And the wood face is typical of a"Plain" Mission or farmhouse clock. The clock is of traditional"Emperor" or English design. Typical of some Seth Thomas clocks. I have had some people look at it.
