We call this type of frame a"shippers" frame. It's just an unfinished white wood that can be stained. Painted, weathered or sealed. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. Description: You are bidding on an antique Arts& Crafts style leaded-glass transom window. Which was taken from a house built in the late 1920’s. It is rather large, measuring ~69¾ wide, by ~17 5/8” tall. It has a lovely period pattern which forms a graceful arch. And was originally placed over the front entry-way of the house. Condition: There is one piece of broken glass which will need to be replaced. There are some cracks to the“welds” of the lead connections-There are some wear to the wood including some chips to the frame here and there. Particular along the“moulding” area. B305B. This auction is for an older and very pretty Transom Style Multi-Colored Leaded Stained Glass Window from England. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia. All of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" ... moreis in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. There are no cracks in this window. This window has pretty Green. Amber, Red and two types of textured white glass. Textured, and leaded glass. it has a stylized floral-like detailing and the glass has multiple iridescent colors in each panel. it is beautifully leaded together and a nice clean job. it has a solid bronze frame which has a great patina from age and has ornate decorative corner pieces. the piece measures 15 inches by 12 inches without measuring hanging chain. It is in very nice condition for it being so old. It measures approx. 22" long by 19" High by 1 3/4" deep. The actual glass is approx. 18" L x 14" H. No cracks on the glass. 1895 Leaded Glass Window Craftsman/Shingle style. This window was in the attic of a home we recently acquired. It is a leaded glass 9 pane window that we believe was the front gable window in the house. The window is 28 3/4 x 45 1/4 overall and the actual glass dimension is 24 x 40. It is a heavy wood frame and has the original interior handle. I'm Not offering shipping on this. However there is a local Pak/shipper that can probably package this for you and ship it. It measures 14 1/8" X 31" including the original wood frame. Each individual window measures 16" across including the center sash. Featured in the center of each window is a decorative single amber gold flower accented with two pretty green leaves. The amber gold flower has a honeycomb texture.
