When we bought this piece we thought it was an inlay maybe to a flintlock rifle. WW2 Original Japanese NCO Sword Rare Side Latch Nice
This is a Guaranteed Original Japanese NCO Sword. It is all original and very rare. They made more copper handled NCO sword. Which cost upwards of $4000, approx. 7K were made. Acording to Dawson's Book he saw swords from serial# 131829 to 134666 when preparing for his book. This sword falls right in that range. I'm thinking there were only 4K made but that is my opinion. After making these, Nagoya went on to use this side latch idea in there late war wooden handled NCO swords. I believe this to be all original and correct. The blade is very nice and still shows signs of it's original polish, see the picture of the tip. Handle and scabbard still has a lot of it's original paint. Nikon MB-D200 battery pack-Excellent, works great, but needs door latch & clips
Nikon MB-D200 Battery pack in excellent condition electronically and functionally. Needs new door latch and clips. I continue to use it by loading the batteries and putting a well-fitting black rubber band around the base to hold the door closed. Unit works great. Door latch and clips are a quick fix. West coast Nikon repair said they would fix it knowing it was an original design issue. But it probably depends on who you talk to and how convincing you are. So, this unit can be used as is or fixed. Use it on my Nikon D200 camera all the time and it works fine. If you want it back to new just take the time to fix it. I haven't had the time.
