Sorry the door knob was nowhere to be found. I'm sure you can get a replacement knob and a universal skeleton key. I don't see any reason why the lock wouldn't work. I don't know for sure how old this door is and carbon dating takes way to long. But I would guess it is around 100 years old. It came out of a house that was built around 1904; I would say that is a fair date for the door as well. Condition: There are a couple of nail holes in one side; it looks like there was some type of rack attached to it and a hasp for a lock too. Also on one side the varnish is tarnished. But the door is solid and does not have any signs of rot or cracks. It could easily be sanded down and refinished. They just don't make doors like this anymore folks. Shipping: I would prefer a buyer pick up free of charge. But I can ship if for $100 via UPS ground to anywhere in the Continental 48 United States.
