Description This is a great set of doors that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are made of pine and are painted. Each has a tall glass opening that is currently filled with plywood. All of the hardware needs to be replaced. They measure 46 inches wide together by 93.5 inches tall and are 2 inches thick. Overall they are in rough condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good scrubbing but will clean up nicely. They are weathered and worn. There are 3 deadbolt holes and a mail slot at the bottom. The moldings around the glass on the fronts are not original. Nor is the astrigal or divider molding. They are solid but very rough. These are a VERY BEAUTIFUL set of ANTIQUE WOOD POCKET FRENCH DOORS. They come with the rails they roll on and the rollers. You can see the rollers at the top of the doors. We never took them off of the doors. I bought these BEAUTIFUL DOORS from an old house down the road from us. It was built in 1900. So the doors would be 115 years old. The man that was tearing the house down took the doors and the hardwarre out for me. But I am sure these would make a DELIGHTFUL set for someone who is redoing an old house and would like something that would match the original decor of the home. I believe the doors are mahogany but I could be wrong. They could use a good cleaning but im sure they will clean up rather nicely. This is a set of 2 Interior REEB Millwork wood French doors. They measure approx. 25 3/4 wide each. By 96 inches tall. I believe they are solid wood so you can trim to fit. They were installed in my home, but the painters scratched the glass when they were removing the wrapping. There are very slight scratches in some of the glass panels. They do not have holes bored for the doorknobs, but dummy knobs were installed and removed so you will have to replace the knobs and hinges. There are spaces notched out for the hinges. They have been painted in a white Benjamin Moore Regal Select paint in a semi glass finish. I can only offer LOCAL PICKUP to Northern NJ. VINTAGE SOLID HARDWOOD FRENCH DOORS SIZE: 60" X 81-1/2" ORIGINAL BRASS HARDWARE Offered are a pair of vintage solid hardwood French doors circa 1920s being sold as is. I believe these may be Walnut. But I am not a wood expert. This set measures approximately 60" x 81-1/2" The door thickness is approximately 1-3/4" Each door weighs approximately 52 pounds. All of the original brass hardware is included but the hinges are missing. I have taken photos of the both the fronts and backs of these beautiful doors as well as some pictures at different angles. Pictures of the hardware is also included. As you can see from the pictures. EACH French door has four rows of 3 glass window panes across, or 12 glass window panes- none of the panes are cracked or broken. Each glass pane measures approximately 5" wide by 13-3/4" ... morelong. The measurement from the bottom of the door to the trim of the lowest row of glass is approximately 16-1/4" All of the original brass hardware is included, and photos include pictures of the door knobs, striker plate, and the mortise locking mechanisms. The varnish on the doors does show signs of crazing, which is to be expected for the age of these doors. In my opinion, this is a very beautiful set of French doors. Bottom part is a bureau style with 2 lockable doors-same key fits all locks. Some wear to varnish but no damage, no loose pieces or gouges. Vintage Oval Top French Doors
All of them are 8ft tall. Some of the sets are 37" across others are 42" Some have the original hardware as shown in the pictures. Some have a few broken panes. I've looked into how much it costs to replace. Each pane is only $8. Some of the doors are thicker than others. The thinner ones probably served as a kind of storm door. These are attached down the middle and don't open as a French door would but could be made to open as one should it be cut down the middle. Some of the doors have a pane which opens like a mini door in a door. There is a picture which shows this. The price is per set or as in the case of the"storm" door its priced per door. It measures 46 inches wide by 83.25 inches tall and is 1.75 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It has an elaborately carved floral and scroll crown and sides. Below the doors is a carved drawer as shown in the photos. It stands on carved cabriole legs and scrolled feet. Three adjustable shelves come with the armoire. As with all antique armoires. Wood supports can be placed in any of the carved slots running the entire length of the piece inside. Antique French partition doors. Large - 15 pane daisy glass.
This is a pair of French doors as you see. They are the type that one opens and closes freely while the other has a bolt at the top and bottom that you trigger to swing the other. They are large ones and were used to separate rooms. These have been stored for about 40+ years in an attic- so could use a paint job obviously but the wood is in very good condition.
