Antique Chicago Cottage Organ Company Pump Organ - Victorian-era Walnut Eastlake
Antique Victorian-era pump organ manufactured by the Chicago Cottage Organ Company. The company used the name Chicago Cottage Organ from 1885 to about 1900 and was previously known as Western Cottage Organ from 1879-1885. It features walnut construction which has Eastlake-style carvings. There are decorative acoustic cut-outs above and below the keyboard to allow the sounds to escape. And each cut-out has fabric behind it for a finished appearance. There is a music holder above the keyboard with a storage compartment behind it. The two pumping pedals are covered with a fabric, and over that is decorative metalwork. There are twelve"stops" above the keyboard. The number"96313" is stenciled on the back and which I think is the serial number. After some research it appears that this serial number would have been produced ... morein late 1892 or 1893. So this organ is about 121 years old. The Vox Humana Tremulant is marked: G.W. Ingalls& Company MFR's Worcester Mass. Hendrick Vox Humana- Patented July 21 1885. Serial number 86309. It measures 52" high by 46" wide and 22" deep. The foot pedals pump great. It plays tones/sounds from some of the"stops" but no sound from the keyboard. We do not know how to properly play the organ so maybe we are doing something wrong. Understanding the basic principals by which the reeds work. I suspect there are air leaks that need to be sealed to be able to get enough air flow to vibrate most of the reeds. As seen in the photos a few of the keys do not return to their"upright" position and the tip of a few of the white keys have chips on them. Architectural Salvage Eastlake Pediment Carved /Appliqued Oak Vintage Decorative
This is an Eastlake-style pediment and my best guess is that it's off a dresser or a mirror. It is carved and the arch is an applique. The oak has no stain or varnish left on it and is quite lovely in that it's survived to find a new use as a decorative wall hanging. It is 22" long. 7" high and a little more than an inch thick.

Ebony fretwork Victorian Eastlake corner chair w/incised carving. On wheels.
HOTLINE: 425- 877-1074. Charming corner chair believed. Based on style and construction, to be an original Victorian piece in the Eastlake style. Ebony-finished wood frame features cut-out flowers, fluted arms, lathe-turned legs, and incised carving. Re-upholstery was done relatively recently using a slightly slubbed sateen-like purple with a thin gold grid pattern; a matching. Gold-embroidered fabric was used on the rolled back support. The seat and back are cushioned with thick foam. There is one light spot on the purple upholstery. About an inch diameter(see photos) You can see the nail holes on the underside of the seat support where the original upholstery was attached. Most likely web-supported springs which at some point were replaced by a braced plywood board and a foam cushion. The wood in the corner also has nail holes in it. The ... morebottom half of one floret in the filigree is missing(see 2nd photo) If you look underneath and at the joints. There is evidence of repairs to the chair frame. It feels quite sturdy now. Although it's not obvious. If you examine the wood trim along the front curved edge, you can see it doesn't lie completely flat, as it was bent by making curf cuts in the back side of it. It's not clear whether this trim is original, or part of the previously mentioned repairs. What a fun perch! This little chair is obviously an attractive accent piece with a great sense of history. California 93510 Shipping Is Possible ~ Please Read Below For Your Consideration We Are Offering Our Lovely Antique Eastlake 1920's Walnut& Burl Dresser Vanity With Stationary Mirror ~ For Restoration/Repair This 1920's antique dresser/vanity is such a gorgeous piece of furniture ~ It measures 45" wide. Is 89" in height. 17" in depth and needs someone to care for& restore it ~ The Eastlake piece became part of our antique store inventory, when it was left buy a consignor. After it was damaged ~ The marble was broken. Some time ago, but the ornate top became unassembled and the end piece broken off. When it was attempted to be moved ~ We have housed(not stored) this beautiful piece. Since we closed the doors of our store ~ A recent move now has us having to find her a new home ~ The dresser/vanity ... moreis absolutely repairable. With all pieces present ~ It will need a new marble top. But is quite usable, with the one that exists The current marble is broken in two places ~ The right corner has been glued. So the actual top is in two pieces, not three ~ The damaged crown. Top piece, is removable(pic 3) ~ Dresser can be used without it. But it is not quite the same ~ The ornate point needs to be re-secured and the end re-fitted/repaired ~ The hardware is original. To the piece ~ all pulls are present ~ The drawers work fairly well. For their age ~ The silver(mirror) does show age. But still offers a nice reflection: This dresser/vanity is being offered in as-is. Used, but still sturdy. There is a patent date on the base that reads. PATd NOV. 25, 1879. It measures 5-5/8" across and 5-1/8" high. The stand is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. The glass inkwell is in great shape with only some roughness where the lid comes down(shown in photo) but there are no chips or cracks on the body. A wonderful hard to find antique inkwell that would be a very fine addition to any collection.

A very fine antique. Circa 1880's, solid walnut step back double door bookcase over two drawers. Two part construction. The bookcase is decorated with a pierced carved crest, the case with burl walnut accents. Both doors have the original wavy glass, lock, and key. They open to two compartments each with adjustable walnut stained maple shelves, the back boards in a stained hardwood. The drawers have fancy brass pulls, walnut escutcheons, and their locks. The furniture measures 7"10" 94" tall by 4'5" 53" wide by 21" deep, the shelves 9-1/4" deep by 22-1/2" wide. Excellent condition: walnut in the original finish, minor short shrinkage crack to left and right side bookcase boards, no chips to burl veneers. All four glass door panels without damage.

For your consideration is a Vintage ornate cast iron Eastlake Victorian style cupboard spring load door latch with porcelain knob. The door latch and the keeper do not match but not real noticeable unless you look closely. Door latch is 2" long x 1-1/2" wide x 1-1/4" high to the top of the porcelain knob. Keeper is 1" long and 1-1/2" wide and has some light rust. Spring in door latch is in nice working condition. Both pieces are untouched. So shows their original patina and character. Porcelain knob could use a cleaning. My uncle's career was repairing/refinishing/repurposing furniture for antique dealers.these items are from his estate. This large pitcher has a lovely Eastlake brown transferware decoration. It measures 13.5" high. F Winkle& Co manufactured earthenware in Stoke. Staffordshire, England from 1890 to 1925. The mark on this pitcher was used from 1890 to 1931. It bears the English Registry Number for 1908. The condition is excellent with no chips. Nicks or cracks. The transfer decals are crisp and clear. The items displayed in the pitcher are not included.

The organs built during this era often had very high backs with carved panels, shelves, mirrors, etc. They were truly a hallmark in Victorian design! This beautiful organ was built in 1900. Refinished in 1968 by two brothers who lived outside Mt Vernon MO. The insides were reworked about 1974 by a piano tuner in Marshall. Mo. It works and is a gorgeous antique. Original. Victorian antique. 100+ year old, European cupboard door. Mostly quarter sawn oak construction with nice patina. In 2 places it has raised, beveled trim framing. Inside is elaborate, carving everywhere. Right top corner has cattails. Top left corner has leaves/stems/berries. In the middle is a fox( standing on ground foliage eating/drinking from an ornate urn. Very 3 dimensional, in person. Spectacular, ornate escutcheon intact. This is a large antique piece measuring 25 5/8 inches tall and 22 inches wide. I also have a second door from same cabinet also listed. Some room in either direction to cut down into custom size. Some gaps at corners making center panel a little loose. Fox also has a poorly repaired leg. Take a close look, what you see is what you get. Great chance to steal a bargain! Eastlake Walnut & Ebonized Deep Picture Frame w/Tintype Photo; 8x10" Opening
This is a very deep Eastlake picture frame that is primarily made of walnut. But has a strip of carved, ebonized decoration, along with 2 gilded areas. There is an old thick mat under the glass, which has a gold oval opening and a tintype picture of a young man wearing a hat. There is a think wood backing slab, and an old hanging wire. The frame is 14 3/4" tall by 12 3/4" wide at the outer edges. The picture opening is 8" by 10" The depth of the frame is 3 1/2" It is in excellent condition. With no damage to the varnished wooden areas, and no damage of the ebonized area, although there is a little fine crazing. There is some discoloration of the gold gilded areas( just small brownish streaks or smudges) The wood backing slab is loose and needs fastened to the picture with longer nails, but it is undamaged and is the ... morecorrect size. The thick old mat has a little darkening with age, but no actual stains. I am willing to combine more than one item in a package to lower your shipping costs. Vintage Eastlake Victorian Cast Iron Mounting Bracket Oil Lamp Sconce Hook
For sale. A vintage Eastlake cast iron mounting bracket for an oil lamp sconce. This bracket measures about 1 3/4” x 3 3/4” It is about 1/8” thick. The slot should accommodate a shaft that is about 3/8” in diameter. The metal is in excellent condition and has a lot of the original gold paint. There is a small hole from the casting process that can be seen at the lower right in picture#6. Otherwise this bracket has no rust, cracks, bends or other damage. Shipping is $1.75.
