ANTIQUE Victorian Eastlake Wood Sears Catalog Tiered Sewing Stand
This beauty is old.it appears that it was a"kit"on the bottom of the stand is the partial remains of a label that describes that the stand was designed to function as a collapsible and portable work stand. Also stamped on the bottom is: August 31.86.Assuming that this refers to the year: 1886. The paper marker on the bottom looks like an age old Sears Catalog image? It is delightful-the top section has spool stands. Four on each side-with an additional spool station in each corner. There are slots in front of each to be used to feed thread through. The decorative markers all around the top are attached with brass tacks and move-they have embossed numbers and letters. The top tier also turns. The bottom tier is stationary. And is not adjustable. Glue has been applied to the bottom box and center stand at some point in time. I suspect ... morethat the bottom box turned liked the top, as the paper remains say the stand was designed to collapse. There are brass decorative tacks applied to each side of the bottom box. The stand measures 32" top to bottom. The top box measures: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" the bottom is: 12" x 12" It is lightweight, approx 6 lbs in weight. Condition: excellent for its age-aged glue on the bottom tier and center stand as shown-and one small piece of veneer missing from the front on the bottom tier. One side only. There is some damage near the center stand on the bottom tier as shown. This may be why glue was applied to the center post. This item with be shipped with care and packaged by a professional shipper. Insurance is highly recommended.

19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN EASTLAKE DESIGN SCULPTURAL CAST IRON OIL LAMP HOLDER WALL SCONCE. 19th century antique Victorian EASTLAKE-DESIGN solid cast iron oil lamp wall sconce holder in very good original condition with very little surface rust and no repairs. No cracks, no chips or dents, and no deep scratches, only minimal abrasion and minimal wear present, solid and heavy with inset relief Eastlake era design pattern(see pics) Charming architectural piece that was meant to cradle and hold an antique oil lamp(see pics) Contains the base and swing arm with attached lower rod that would have fit into a wall bracket-there is no wall bracket present and includes only the arm and base(see pics. A charming antique Eastlake exterior door with a glass window. Salvaged out of a home in Indianapolis that was built in the 1880's. The top of the door features three inset square panels with carved roundels at their centers. Below the half pane of glass sits a horizontal panel adorned with carved floral details and six matching inset square panels. This Eastlake door is in very good antique condition with the expected wear, as pictured. It has chippy off-white paint on one side, and is stained a beautiful dark brown on the other; the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. Up for auction is this antique"banner style" Eastlake weathervane. Made of all copper(white ball ends are painted wood) This wonderful vane is is excellent condition. Vane has all hand-soldered joints/seams, with a hand cut design in the banner portion. It measures 28-1/2" long overall and is 22" high. The"banner portion measures 28-1/2" long by 10-1/2" high. Although, made of solid copper, it appears to have been painted a dark gold color many years ago. The vane was recently found in the rafters of an old barn owned by a Boston, Mass. roofing company which closed down back in the 1950's. Up for auction is a Victorian creamer in a lovely East lake design by Meriden Silver Plate Company from the late 1800's in Quadruple Plate. Black spots on item are reflections from the camera lens and not actually on the item. The cream pitcher is tall standing 7 inches featuring ... moreover sized flowers and birds on either side and machine etched ornamentation on the creamer at the points where the handles is attached to both top and bottom areas. The cut work on the handles is in excellent condition with no breaks. The silver plate is very shiny as shown in the pictures and there are no monograms and the inside is usable. There is a ding to the front of the creamer which may show up in picture number 7 so please look closely before bidding. We will combine shipping when ever possible. For sale is an older folding rocking chair. It's very nice and unique looking. The embroidered tapestry seat looks original to the chair. It folds up and down easily and rocks like it should. It's light weight so it can be carried around with ease. It measures about 34 inches tall and back rest is 17 inches across. Chair could be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. I couldn't find another chair like this one. So it's definitely a collectors piece. I did noticed two screws thru the front wood bar everything else looks original. Nice looking mahogany piano stool frame. What makes this stool real unique is the detailing to the legs and the finials. Have not come across one like this in a while. Old stool here. I would expect it dates to before 1900. The seat has obviously been re-cushioned at some point in the past. The stool has a great looking embroidered cushion top that is tacked on. Great design of flowers in a vase on it. Then has a green colored suede fabric on the sides of the cushion. No musty or mildew smell to the seat. The fabric ... moreis certainly dusty and needs a good cleaning. Beautiful mahogany frame with carved in Empire or Eastlake style designs. Four of the pressed on circular"doughnut" trim pieces are missing on the sides of the legs. See pics. The cast iron screw on the seat and the receiver on the base are intact and original. No repairs. Carved Eastlake Victorian Ball & Stick Freestanding Cabinet 27x12" - Project
This is a wonderful late 1800's freestanding cabinet. It has a hinged door that is held shut with a hook and eye. Inside the cabinet is a single shelf with a design in the the back of both shelf areas. The finish is original and would be greatly improved with a refinishing job. There is paint dripped on a couple areas as shown in our photos. The front of the door at the top has a light white area that looks like the shellac finish either got wet and turned white or who knows what it is but it doesn't wipe or wash off, also there is a ball missing at the top as shown. We are not sure what the original purpose of the cabinet was, maybe medicine) but served us well for many years displaying collectibles on the shelves with the door open. It appears to be made of Oak wood for the most part, hard to tell with the old finish still on the ... morewood. This is an Atterbury's Robin or Eastlake EAPG blue transparent mug dating form the 1880's. It has a very nice impression of a Robin on each side and foliage that looks like wheat in between. The feathers and all the details of the birds are very distinct. The mug is 3 1/4" in diameter by 3 3/8" high and 3" in diameter across the round foot. antique ice box door handle hinges vintage ornate Victorian Eastlake hardware
I have a nice set of late 1800's cast brass ice box hardware for your consideration. These have a date that is hard to read but looks like either 1887 or 1897 of June. The latch handles are left and right and marked as such as well are 5/16 offset as are the hinges. Included are the matching catches. The hinges are marked 5/16 as well. One of the springs will need to be replaced although would work with out it. I would have done so already however the set screws on the back were stubborn and I did not want to damage or take the time to soak in liquid wrench. As well you will need to repair one of the brass pins on the one of the latch handles. Some one did a primitive repair with an iron nail some where along their lives. I am also including an additional latch box and handle for any additional parts you might need at some point. last ... morepic. All solid cast brass manufacture except backplates. You will have to find a key or have on made to lock your door since there are no keys. Look at pics closely and questions are welcome other wise what you see is what you get. FANTASTIC ANTIQUE LATE 19THC. EASTLAKE DOOR W/ LARGE ACID ETCHED GLASS WINDOW
Up for auction I have a wonderful late 19th Century Victorian door with Eastlake details and an extra large original acid etched window that is in great shape with no damage. I would date this historic door to the 1880's or 1890's. Sorry but my pictures of the glass are somewhat blurry. I had trouble photographing this. The glass detail is actually quite crisp looking.This was acquired in the Brownsville. Oregon area. The window is a country scene with a mother and child feeding a fawn with the mother deer watching from close by. There are trees, birds, an Egret, water with water lilies and plants, a dragonfly, a scroll and other esthetic details. This door is made of old growth fir and someone has already started to strip off the old paint although some paint remains. The overall size of the door is approx. 88" tall x 29" ... morewide x 1 3/4" thick. The applied carvings add some extra thickness but will not affect the door casing at all. The etched window is approx. 38" x 20" and is held in place with wooden trim moulding. The mortise lock is still in place but the door knobs, plates and original hinges are gone. This also had a face mount dead bolt at one time. No major damaged areas on the wooden parts- just normal bumps and wear for a 100+ year old door. Item must be picked up by buyer or buyers shipper. Victorian Eastlake Spoon-Carved Stick-and-Ball Cherry Fireplace Mantle Surround
This is an outstanding Eastlake spoon-carved stick-and-ball cherrywood mantle. Circa 1881 from an estate near Des Moines, IA. The dimensions are 55 ¾" W × 48 ½" H × 13" D. With a ~ 2 ½" overhang on each side(total width is 60" The hearth opening is 38 ¼" W × 36" H. The mantle has been professionally refinished(not by me) But is not without minor cosmetic defects that are typical for its age. There are small dings& dents, and no attempt has been made to fill, remove or otherwise disguise these blemishes. They are a part of the patina. Most notably, the top cherry board has slight( ¼" cupping and short end splits which the restorer attempted to pull down using countersunk wood screws through the board and filled with cherry dowels. There has been minor shrinkage ... morealong some joints. Particularly pieces of replacement trim at the base that are not an exact color match. The opening bid on eBay is set at $968.37($843.15 + $96.84 eBay fee + $28.38 PayPal fee) This opening bid is set at this price point so that once a bid has been placed.
