Antique Late 19th Century Eastlake Lemon Gold Gilt Frame 8 X 10 Opening
This is a lovely antique late 19th century Eastlake and lemon gold gilt frame. It dates circa 1870s or 1880s. Overall. It measures 14" x 16" 35.6 cm x 40.6 cm) The back opening size is 8.125" x 10.125" 20.6 cm x 25.7 cm) The molding is 3 inches wide(7.6 cm) The entire frame measures 2 1/2 inches deep(6.4 centimeters) It has those wonderful old square cut nails. It comes with glass. But it's definitely not the original old piece. It does however have its original backboard. The Eastlake carving on it is very well done. The inner section is a lemon gold gilt liner. It has a number of small chips and dings on it. There is a chip in each corner. There's also a noticeable chip on one of the short sides right on the outer edge measuring approximately 3/4" by 1/8" 1.9 cm x.3 cm) There are about five small chips ... moreto the lemon gold liner. There is a tiny chip on one of the long sections in the black area. Other than these. There are light dings and scratches on various parts of the frame. This is fairly common for these old Eastlake frames. Overall though. It's a beautiful looking frame. It would be great for an old oil painting. Drawing, folk art work, sampler, fraktur, silhouette, etc. It weighs 2 lbs. 9 oz. 1.17 kg) It has what I always look for in frames. That wonderful old world look!

This desk is in beautiful condition considering it's age. I have used it for over 30 years when it was sold to me by my brother-in-law who inherited it from his Lt. Colonel Uncle. It has been in the family since the 1890s when it was manufactured and purchased here in the United States. A truly lovely item. The is an original"Eastlake" settee/sofa made of solid American Black Walnut with burl insets of the same. It is American-made. Probably around 1870 to 1880 in imitation of the designs made popular by Charles Eastlake. The entire piece has been reglued and refinished. It is very solid and sturdy. The center back stile, top rail, bottom rail, and arms are carved with graceful motifs characteristic of the"Eastlake" style and are inset with elegant burled Walnut details. It is important to note that while the piece has been restored and the wood, springs, and stuffing are in great condition, it should be reupholstered. 4 stunning original Bronze door knobs from the Eastlake period in the Oriental pattern. The Oriental pattern was first produced by Branford Lock Works of Branford. Connecticut in 1885. The Oriental pattern features an open fan, bamboo and the rising sun. The reverse side is also detailed. These sets are solid cast bronze. The knobs measure 2 1/8" across and 2 1/8" deep and have a beautiful dark patina.

For your bidding consideration today. We have a pair of antique Victorian Eastlake style corner wall shelves. They are carved wood, with the shelf on top, the bottom section is carved with swirls, picket fence type section, and some of the pieces are black. There are holes on each piece, to hang on the wall, and they measure 15 1/2" tall and the sides are a little over 10 inches at the shelf part. These old pieces are still useable, but they do have some age wear and tear. One of the shelves has a split that goes through to the back. They both have a repair at the top of the shelf near the hanging hole, one shelf has two holes, one must have split so they made another on the other side. There is the usual age patina and wear to the tops of the shelves, and there are some chips on the edge of the shelf, that could be touched up. Lot of 4 Fancy Antique Cast Iron Stove Legs Eastlake Era Style Designs MB 87 Mk I didn’t have a lot of time to shop this week because of visiting relatives. But I found some awesome pieces regardless, and I’ll be going to my favorite flea market this weekend, so I’ll have a boatload of items, fingers crossed, that will be new. I appreciate your business! If you haven't figured it out yet. This week I had loooots of wonderful old iron come find me- and this is my second lot of stove legs to list, so you might want to check out my other listings. This listing is for a matched set of 4 antique stove legs. They are very fancy, but not in an ooh-la-la kind of way, I'd call it more of a country primitive way- the designs very reminiscent of Eastlake era, late 1800s style to me. Each leg measures 12" tall from the very bottom of the ... morefoot to the very top of where it mounts, and they are 5 3/4" at their widest. They are about 3" deep measuring from the back of the mounting piece on top, to the front of the feet. Each one weighs 2 3/4 lbs. They are in excellent solid and sturdy structural condition- totally strong, although I want to point out that one has been repaired at the attaching piece- see photos X& Y. The repair appears to have been done by a professional, as it is soldered on in place- you would have a hard time noticing it unless you have the leg turned over- no indication of it from the front, although at the top, there one small 1/2" piece of iron is missing on one side of the attachment(it has what I'd call two"wings" one on either side of the tongue that sticks out with the hole it it, and one of the"wings" is no longer there. and you can see two round headed hardware pieces on the backside of the"tongue" that are not on the others, clearly used in the repair. Knobs measure about 2 1/8" and the patina is aged excellent; the glass knob shows extremely few"flea-bites" and it has a real nice purple tint. Spectacular Antique Victorian Marble Top Parlor Table. Exceptional details on this table set it apart from the rest. Intricate and unusual pierced carvings on the legs. Very little blank area anywhere on the table. Lots of carving, cutouts and curves. The white marble top is original to the table, nicely beveled ends and cut corners to follow the lines of the table. White wheels, also original to the table are a big plus. Very sturdy construction. For the sake of accuracy, there are a couple of insignificant marks on the marble, and a small 3 1/2" crack line on one end which does not show on the bottom of the marble so it is not all the way through. Good old vintage cast iron is stronger and harder than the new soft reproduction stuff they make in modern hinges. Likely cast in the last 1880's to the early 1900's. These have a nice sharp. Clean and fancy casting. The pattern is also on the back of the hinge and shows when the door is closed. The hinges were stripped of all the paint and wire brushed. The hinges were sprayed with clear acrylic lacquer finish made by Sherwin Williams that is specially made for cast iron and exterior applications. This is a better finish than a hardware store spray paint. This clear finish has superior scratch and water resistance. They are 5" long from steeple tip ... moreto steeple tip and they are 3" wide. Victorian Eastlake White Marble Top Walnut Parlor Hall Side Occasional Table
A lovely Victorian walnut white marble top parlor table. Hand carved and very ornate. Wonderful pierced carved legs. Exceptional detail all throughout the base. Beveled edge white marble top is original to the piece. Very heavy wood and well constructed. Overall in great condition for a 125 year old. The marble has two cracks running fairly central along the width. About 6" each in from the sides. Neither crack however shows up on the bottom of the marble, so it is not as bad as it sounds. One leg has a small piece missing, hardly noticeable. Please see all the photos as they are part of the description. The dimensions are 28" W X 20" D X 27 1/2 H.
