Nice looking mahogany piano stool frame. What makes this stool real unique is the finished wood bottom under the padded seat. In 35 years of furniture collecting/dealing. I have not come across one like this before. The stool a great looking colored fabric with a design on the stool that is tacked on. A piece of the black tape over the tacking on the side is loose and will need some attention. No musty or mildew smell to the seat. The fabric is certainly dusty and needs a good cleaning. Beautiful mahogany ... moreframe with carved in Eastlake style designs. The cast iron was repaired at one time around the metal screw and solid and intact. I do not see a maker's mark on it. Original Eastlake late 19th century miniature accessory\ jewelry box. Made in Eastlake fashion out of solid Mahogany with a what appears to be a walnut top. Dimensions are 10" and 3\4" inches wide X 7" and 1\4" deep X 8" and 1\2" inches high. The piece was made in a high quality shop. Using all solid high grade wood. There are small holes on each corner indicating to me it once has casters or small buttons on each corner, The workmanship is excellent and most of it's construction is 1\2" solid mahogany. Antique Vintage Eastlake Door with Window and Frame Local Pickup Mid Illinois
This old 32" door was original to an approximately 100 year old house and has normal surface wear. It is still in good condition. But will need to be refinished. The door has been painted and has a curtain rod on the inside. The outside appears to be the original varnish. The original frame and latch are included but the hinges have been replaced. The doorknob turns but the latch doesn't go in and out like it should. It still has the old glass that is just a bit wavy. Antique Eastlake copper door knob & iron copper washed back plate escutcheon
Included in this auction is a very old possibly Eastlake copper door knob with a matching iron with copper wash backplate or escutcheon. Both pieces are in excellent. Antique condition with darkening in the relief areas and fantastic old penny patina on the design. The escutcheon measures about 5 1/4 inches long and just about 1 5/8 inches wide. The door knob measures about 2 1/4 inches wide. These are beautiful. Warm pieces that my camera does not do justice to. There are 3 numbers on the back of the escutcheon but I can't really make them out. To me. The knob feels like solid copper, not copper washed.
