This superb frame measures an impressive 29” x 34” overall with 21 ¼” x 26 ¼” reveal and 22 x 27” back rabbet opening. The stacked gesso moldings are 4” wide and 4” deep! This nicely preserved 1880s frame was converted to a shadow box back in the 1950s or 60s. It could easily be reversed by removing the plywood on the back if you like. The frame measures 12 ½” x 14 ½” with a reveal of 7 ½” x 9 ½” and a back opening of 8” x 10” The depth of the box is 3 ¾” overall; 3 3/8” without the rabbet. Its surface is entirely original and un-enhanced having scratch carved stylized floral designs in the fax burl wood graining and bright silvery lemon gold accents. This large and ornate cast iron rarity dates from the late 1860s-early 1880s and measures 11” tall x 14” x 14” The open work cast iron top features elaborate Eastlake inspired designs and is supported by 4 tall feet. The pair in front are massive cabrioles with elaborate foliate knees and lions’ paw feet. The rear duo are simpler with Eastlake designs and understated claw feet. The entirety is barn fresh with old. Un-enhanced rusted surface showing pitting from years on the hearth. There is a large old stable crack on the top near the rear as shown in the close-ups. Gorgeous antique game table. In good antique condition. The felt on the inside is worn but adds to the story of the table. It measures 18" deep 36" wide and 30.25" tall. The base of the table is slightly off center. Perhaps for balancing purposes? There is also a medallion missing from the backside of the table. The pieces that stabilize the table from underneath when fully extended in open position also needed, but would be a quick and easy fix. Altogether it is a beautiful piece! It is the old style square shaft style door knob from the late 1800's. It is in original condition and washed with water. All the history is still here and not polished away. The knob is heavy duty solid cast bronze or brass. It is in very good. Usable condition. There are small dents and scratches fom years of use. The door knob is 2 1/4" in diameter and 2" deep. Antique LOVESEAT 1880s Eastlake NEWLY RESTORED and UPHOLSTERED SOFA SETTEE HISTORY: The 1994 earthquake destroyed all our furniture. Much of which was antiques collected over the years. After retiring to Florida, we looked to replace some items. We found this love seat and a chair which we are also listing stored in a barn and loved the lines. We then located a retired gentleman who had many years experience in restoring antique furniture. He spent a couple of months totally restoring the wood. Then he referred us to a local upholstering company who rebuilt the seat and back and covered it with this beige velvet. Everything under the velvet is totally new as only the frame existed originally. We chose beige as the other furniture in our living room had bright colors and designs. We dressed this loveseat up with fancy pillows to match or coordinate ... morewith the other bright colors in the room. DESCRIPTION: The gentleman who restored this loveseat said that it was from the 1880s and named EASTLAKE. We went online and looked at Eastlake furniture from the 1880s and found pieces very similar to this. MEASUREMENTS ARE: Floor to highest point in middle of back 34 1/2 inches; Widest part from outside arm ends 36 inches; Arm length 21 1/2 inches from back frame to end; and seat is 21 x 33 1/2. Floor to top of padded seat is approximately 14 1/2 inches. This is very low; however. This can easily be made higher with casters. VALUATION: We research similar items for sale and try to price anything we list competitively and usually below lowest comparable. We located same category items from just under three hundred dollars which needed to be upholstered up to several thousand dollars. As we are serious about selling this beautiful loveseat to move to a smaller place. We decide to offer it for sale for $695.00 which is about what we paid to have it restored and upholstered. Antique (c.1870) lady's dresser in the style of Charles Eastlake
This"Charles Eastlake" style lady's dresser has been in our family for more than 140 years. It belonged to my great grandmother. A gift from her new husband on their wedding day in the early 1870s. She was 15; he, 31. The dresser is made from deep red cherry or mahogany wood. The piece is in wonderful condition except for a few minor flaws(shown) For five generations of women, it has never been used for anything but its original purpose, a lady's vanity above and three-drawer clothes chest below. A 7 3/4 x 16 1/4 inch marble insert is centered on the top front surface. In addition to three large drawers below. It has jewelry or glove drawers on each side of the top and two small knick-knack shelves on either side of the mirror. The total height from the original porcelain casters to the rounded finial on top is 75 inches. ... moreThe maximum depth from front to back is 18 1/2 inches and the width is 35 1/4 inches. The mirror is on a swivel. Allowing it to be adjusted back and forth vertically. The mirror dimensions are 11 1/4 x 19 inches and the unbeveled glass is too clear to be original. The three drawers below have interior dimensions of 29 inches wide, 13 1/2 deep. The front of each lower drawer has a burled inset(probably faux) typical of Eastlake furniture. The glove and jewelry drawers are 6 1/2 inches wide, 13 1/2 inches deep. All 8 knobs are original. This dresser was manufactured in an American factory or shop. Probably in the Midwest, following design concepts of English architect and designer Charles Eastlake. His ideas were disseminated in his book Hints on Household Taste in Furniture. Upholstery and other Details, first published in England in 1868. And then in United States in 1872. Eastlake pieces, though contemporary with Victorian furniture, 1870-1890, are actually anti-Victorian. He called for angular, notched and carved pieces, deliberately opposed to the curved shapesof French Baroque Revival Styles prevalent in the Victorian era. Incredible carved overmantel - Eastlake with distressed mirror
This is a rare Eastlake overmantel. It has various carved and spindle design throughout the piece. The glass is bevelled with the original distress. The large middle piece is intact with most of the small square pieces except two surrounding it in good condition. There were originally mirrored panels in each of the four surrounding squares. Only one remains. The design works fine without them and the remaining piece could be cut and used to replace the two little squares. The Dimensions are: 56 in. H x 68 in. W x 12 in. Antique Victorian Eastlake wood bed and custom mattress - Turn of the century
This is an Eastlake wooden bed from the turn of the century in the original finish. It has been in my family since purchased. It has nice incise carvings and burl accents. The bed is in good condition and includes the original headboard. Footboard, and attaching side rails. It is a 3/4 size bed, so it is slightly smaller than a full size bed so I had a custom mattress made for it but full size sheets fit it fine. The custom made mattress and bunky board are in excellent condition(only slept on twice) The bed measures- 53" wide x 75.5" long. The headboard is 55" high at the tallest part and the footboard is 29" tall. The mattress measures approximately 51"x70"

Here is a set of ten antique drawer pulls. They are cast iron with an Eastlake or Aesthetic design. They measure 3 3/4" across and it's about 3 5/16" from center to center of the holes for the screws. They look like they had a gold finish at one time that is mostly worn off(see pictures) I'm not sure if it was original or not so please look at the pictures. Antq Eastlake Victorian Plant Stand w/ Hand Carved Deer Head~Rotating~Walnut?
Rare. Exquisite, AND totally unique~ Eastlake Victorian Plant Stand Circa late 1800's early 1900's. Hand carved deer head securely attached to base~ he has lost both antlers and one ear. Should be pretty simple to restore. Base appears to be pecan or walnut and has only one small nick that I can see~ Round stand top is appears to be mahogany and turns around on a type of swivel so your plants can be rotated without picking them up! The seam is visible where the 2 half circles have been put together~just the way it was crafted. In need of a good cleaning and oil to bring it easily back to natural beauty. Stand measures a nice 32" tall and top has a diameter of 11" total and 8" of flat surface. Antique Eastlake Style Brass Drawer Pulls- Lot of 5 All have the same pattern with one drawer pull being smaller. The four bigger drawer pulls measure 4 1/4 inches wide by roughly 1 25/32 inches tall by 3/4 of a inch deep. The one small drawer pull measures 3 5/8 inches wide by roughly 1 3/4 inches tall by 3/4 of a inch deep. All have aged with discoloration. Patina, small nicks, small scratches and wear. The area where the screw goes in on one handle and the small handle have aged with being slightly bent outward. this can be bent gently back into place with the correct tool. A nice set to use again! Eastlake King Silver Flair Trumpet with King Case serial number 722435 These vintage sliver flairs are arguably the best trumpets that King has ever made. This trumpet has a great open feel when playing it and the valves are smooth and fast that make it a joy to play. Many accolades have been given to these fine vintage trumpets and for good reason. This trumpet has small dings and dents but nothing major or blaring that would ruin its good looks. The silver plating is above average for a trumpet of this vintage. There is evidence of past resoldering of the bell brace but no evidence of past major repair. The trumpet has a good balance feel to it and a nice juicy sound that is exceptional.
