FATIGUED FRENCH FINDS fatiguedfrenchfinds This is a completely charming pair of antique French decorative putti mounted onto bronze columns. Known as Deuxs Amours. They are a young boy and a young girl, each mounted on their own engraved column. I would date them to around the mid 1800’s but they may possibly be earlier than that. They once had a gilded finish, which has worn away with time, leaving a fabulous time worn patina. They are involved in a fire theme as they young boy has the bellows and the young girl is holding her hands out to warm them against a flame. The combined weight of the pair is 2.200kgs. My belief is that they originally came from something else and have been mounted onto a matching pair of columns. The columns are fluted and have beautifully ornate bases. This is a beautiful matching pair of solid cast iron fluted doric columns with removable and original bases. The columns were made circa turn of the century and both are nicely embossed with prominent foundry numbers along the columns as are the bases. They are a rare size measuring 2ft 5.5 inches and 7 in diameter at the foot of the column and mounted on 8"x8" square bases. Each weighs approx 40 lbs. The bases have four mounting holes and the top has two holes. Excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. Thank you!

The decorative andiron is brass- the part the logs sit on does not appear to be brass. They are heavy andirons. They have a lovely patina and they will grace any home.

Exceptional Pair of 7ft C18th Corinthian Carved Pine Columns Dublin John Rehan
A UNIQUE PAIR OF YELLOW IRISH PINE CARVED CORINTHIAN PILLARS. These exquisite pillars originated in Dublin. Ireland and were thought to be carved by master carver John Rehan in the early 1800's. They were part of an entrance porch to a Georgian home in Dublin and were reclaimed in the 1980's. The pillars measure 7ft in height and are in very good condition. With one scroll carving missing, but otherwise intact. They are not hollow, but solid and measure 12" x 12" at the base and the same at the head. The photographs are a little deceiving where color is concerned as these are bright yellow pine. These pillars are genuine museum quality pieces and a seach of internet will reveal just how rare and precious these are. A pair. 2 Antique 63" Cast Iron Square Fluted Industrial Architectural Columns Philadelp
Incredible pair of antique cast iron industrial square fluted columns. Each column measures over 5' tall(63" 12" square at the base, and 10" at the top. Deep fluting on each side, great honest patina. One has more paint left on it than the other. I'm sure these must date to before the turn of the century, as they must weigh upwards of 3 to 4 hundred pounds each. I'm told these came from a major salvage job some years ago in Philadelphia, PA. Very minimal amount of casting flaws. No cracks or breaks. A few very small chips or flaws, but nothing to speak of. This pair of columns would look incredible as is in an outdoor space or blasted and refinished for a really dramatic touch to any room. Don't miss out on this large, unique pair. Prefer local pickup in the NYC area but willing to freight, as well.

Matching. Tapered, antique columns. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Guaranteed Victorian pieces. They have doubled, beveled, ring bases with a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. Tapering upwards is another beveled ring. Directly above that are acanthus leaf carvings. Then you have classical, ionic scrolls with a carved flower in the middle. These are completely free-standing at 33 3/8 inches tall. Can be used in so many ways! Note that carving is on 3 of the 4 sides. This is a used original Marx Toys. Marx-A-Score Skee Ball tin Steel game with Original Cardboard Box. The balls are with this and it is in very good shape for its age. I do not really think this was played with that much at all. This game does work and Ive tested it. There are a couple small fade marks in the paint but not very noticeable. This has great graphics on it. When I bought this the tin back board was folded up until I took it out of the box and set it up. What you see in the photos is what you get. These were a recent acquisition from the estate of an interior designer in Pacific Palisades. These sat astride the entrance to a veranda and would equally suit an entrance hallway or living room. The tops are hollow. Great pieces of architectural salvage. Each column weighs approximately 12 pounds. The columns are 48 inches high, and the base is approximately 9.5 inches square tapering up to approximately 5.5 inches square at the top.
