Here is an absolutely delightful large antique empire style sideboard or buffet with gorgeous flame mahogany veneers. Columns with detailed carving above and below with very detailed fabulous carved lion's feet on the front legs. The large lovely cabinet has a really nice top surface with a number of faint or light scratches but no major gauges, stains, chips or other serious damage to the top as I attempt to show in my photographs. It is a somewhat oversize functional piece of furniture and perfect for a front entry hall, hallway, dining room or any room in your home or business. It has three drawers and three large open cabinets with lots of extra storage in a classic 19th century empire style sideboard in very nice condition and ready to make a statement in your home or office. The original metal hardware is all intact and sort of ... morea floral, perhaps a peony, in shape and are attached through into recessed holes within the drawers as shown. Investing just a bit into the minor repairs to the veneer to restore this great buffet to it's former glory will make this piece even more special and valuable if you prefer antiques restored and in near perfect condition. This beautiful sideboard stands 44 1/2 inches tall to the top surface of the sideboard and 49 3/4 inches tall to the top of the serpentine mantle across the back edge. It measures 63 inches long at it's widest point at the outside of the beautifully carved lion's feet on the front legs and the top surface board is 61 3/4 inches long. The piece is 24 3/8 inch deep front to back. Again at the deepest point at the lion's feet which protrude beyond the front of the drawers and cabinets, and 21 3/4 inch front to back at the top surface board and general body of the sideboard. There are two drawers on either side of a slightly smaller drawer across the top of the sideboard. All clean within and beautifully hand dovetailed. FOR SALE BY OWNER* Set of four(4) Decorative Interior Columns. The columns are made of fiberglass and the caps/bases are PVC. The columns are 5-years old and were painted with off-white primer after installation by the builder which is why there is a difference in color at each end of the column. The unpainted area rests inside the base& cap collars. We remodeled our home this past summer and have no further need for the columns. There is no damage to them. The bases and caps have tiny holes where the finish brad nails held them in place. These columns are not load bearing. Although they are hollow so you can install them over a 4x4 post or other support beam. SPECS: The columns themselves are 71" long(5' 11" The bases are 4.25" high and measure 10" by 10" square. Antique Vintage Solid Poplar Wood Doric Columns Exterior Weathered Pair 90"

Here is a pair of big old solid poplar columns(not hollow) They are w eathered but in decent conditi on overall. The bottoms were hand cut so they may need planing. Though they do stand easily on their own. These columns are big and heavy, probably about 200 pounds each. They have a very slight taper, about 1" in diameter over 90" of length. These were turned from one tree trunk each, they are not laminated layers. There are c racks and checks on them. And the edge of one of the tops is missing(see pics) Some of the tips of t he radius details have broke ... moreoff. It looks like these were small pieces that were added to complete the curve(see pics) that have since fallen off. There is a little bit of paint on them but not much. These would make a great starting poi nt for a substantial pergola or archway. Or with a bit of repair these could be used on a porch once again. VINTAGE MAHOGANY BEVELED GLASS WALL SHELF CABINET FRENCH BARLEY TWIST COLUMNS
We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. Antique to older vintage, mahogany wall cabinet. This is a beautiful cabinet with practical storage or display uses. The cabinet features a demilune(semi-round) design with exquisite carved details in the Louis XIII style. The cabinet base is raised and features a carved/notched rope accent. There are two large, carved barley twist columns on each side of the front door. The columns sit on carved acanthus plinths and have squared capitals. These accents extend outward from the balance of the cabinet so they are prominently featured. The cabinet contains 15 beveled glass panels. There are 3 panels on each side of the center door and the door itself contains 9 panels. Each panel is secured on the interior with small wooden supports. The beveled edges add even greater interest to the cabinet and provide ... morea"leaded" glass look. The cabinet features a flat top surface which can also be used for display. It is also solid wood and has been finished in the same manner as the cabinet front. The door pull is metal with a back plate and dangled pull. The interior hinges look newer than the rest of the cabinet and have probably been replaced at some point. The cabinet houses 2 removable wooden shelves. These rest on very small nails for support. The back of the cabinet is mahogany. It is a two section design with a vertical support between the sections. Old wood is placed horizontally on the upper and lower back for support. The upper piece has once housed hanging brackets but they are no longer present. This is a very nice, cabinet with beautiful details. It is in very good condition with only minimal evidence of age or use. The wood is has only VERY MINOR scuffs in just a couple of areas. The interior shelves have clean surfaces with very little evidence of use. The glass is good with no chips or breaks. The unit is large. Antique Seth Thomas Black Adamantine Mantel Clock- it has marble-esque Columns on front. Each has a corbel at the to with a tapered fluted column below. They do still have the mounting boards attached. Each measures 6.5 inches wide by 46.25 inches tall and is 9.75 inches deep. Overall they are in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. There are dowel holes at the sides. Antique Pine Chest of Drawers Dresser with Columns, Denmark c. 1860-1870
Beautiful antique pine three-drawer chest with original hardware and in perfect working condition(recently waxed and cleaned) This piece has a"female" match in one of my other listings. Circa 1860-1870 this piece was acquired from a design client who has held them in her family for generations. She used them in a guest bedroom so they are barely used and in great condition. Dresser measures approximately 40"W x 19D x 30H(great for bathroom vanity conversion! Vintage Antique Penny One Cent Vending Machine w Stand 4 Columns Candy Nuts
Antique vintage vending machine with 4 columns/ has a bit of an Art Deco flair. One cent penny machine. Study photos carefully for best description. It is four separate penny vending sections. The only part that is missing is the key. When machine is disassembled it has all original sections as far as I can tell. The glass on some of the front sections(very thick. Looks original) has some chips on the edges and there is some paint wear as shown. The outer frame is bent in some spots as shown in the photo, but overall needs a good cleaning and reconditioned as you see fit, or use for a decorative piece for a home, bar or restaurant. Three of the four knobs seem to be working fine. The spring on the other one appears to not be functional when turning. Is a French-inspired Neoclassical style of American furniture and decoration that takes its name and originates from the Empire style introduced during the First French Empire period under Napoleon's rule. It gained its greatest popularity in the U.S. after 1810. The most elaborate furniture in this style was made around 1815-1825, often incorporating columns with rope twist carvings, animal paw feet, anthemion, and acanthus-leaf ornamentation. THE LISTED MIRROR: This is a beautiful piece which has undergone a brand new mirror replacement. When received. The old mirrors were cleaned but were still found to be very"clouded" with age. Please note ... morethe first four photographs showing the new mirrors. Compare them to the last two photographs that show the original mirrors in poor condition. This piece has regained its elegance and is ready to grace any home. It measures 31 3/4" high by 16 1/16" wide by 2 1/2" wide, and weighs 10 pounds. CONDITION: As mentioned. The mirrors themselves are brand new and unused. The wood columns are in great shape, with only a couple of tiny marks. The one defect of notable mention are the two areas of chipped paint loss on the wood at the very bottom of the mirror framing. See photograph# 7} This area could easily be touched up. The back of the mirror shows great age. It was very carefully removed and reinstalled during the mirror replacement work. There is an old small sticker on the top of the back that apparently notes somebody's name. The first name looks to read"Priscilla" but the last name is illegible.
