Vintage Wooden Mantle Alarm Clock with Roman Styled Columns working movement
Vintage and unbranded wooden mantle alarm clock with Roman styled columns in very good aesthetic and working condition with minor exterior wear with surface scratches. Nicks and corner, edge and minor paint wear. The back metal cover and alarm bell have minor scratches. Paint wear and areas of minor surface corrosion. The finish has a crackle effect from age. The metal face/dial has minor surface wear and paint wear to the lower alarm dial. The numbers of the dial are blue as seen through the cut out numbers of the face. The movement is in very good working condition with very little sign of wear. The alarm function works. But the odd thing is there is no on/off switch for the alarm. Nice looking clock in very good working condition! The clock dimensions are 8"W x 6-1/2H x 3-1/2"D.

Architectural Columns, Smooth tapered, Corinthian Capitals, Bases, 16 Feet Tall
The asking price is for ONE COMPLETE PAIR OF COLUMNS but I have EIGHT COMPLETE COLUMNS. Each column includes a very ornate Corinthian. Hemp reinforced plaster capital, a sturdy tapered wooden column, and a waterproof(I think polyurethane) base. They stand approximately 16' feet tall total. They can however, be cut to any shorter length to fit a variety of height requirements. There are NO signs of rot as they have spent their entire life indoors in a year-round climate controlled environment. They are however, also suitable for decades of outdoor use with proper finishing. They are a beautiful color but will need to be re-painted or at least touched up, as they have handling scratches and unpainted areas. Four 19th Century HAND CARVED Wooden Cabinetry Columns With Grapes, 21" tall
Hand carved of wood. These four matching columns were probably once part of a large cabinet or sideboard. The capitals are decorated with carved grapes and grape leaves, all very similar, but none exactly alike. The columns are 3/4 cut with flat backs. The bottoms are cut at an angle, making them 21" long in the front, and 20.5" long on the back side. All are in wonderful condition. There are a few insignificant losses to the carved grapes, nothing notable or noticeable. No significant cracks. No warping, checking or splitting. They have some varnish drips on the back side, which can be seen in the photos. The tops are slightly rounded off around the edges. Overall, they are very nice and will be beautiful in any application.

I have four of them I was told they came out of an old ballroom from England. CHEAP INTERESTING FLUORESCENT CALCITE COLUMNS - TRIPLE THREAT IN 3 WAVELENGTHS
This is a fun plate of calcite crystals from Morocco. The column shaped crystals are arranged in a very haphazard fashion which just adds to their interest. One side of each of the crystals is covered by a druzy material- much like a rain shadow common to mountains in the western U.S. The bottom has a little pyrite and the whitish calcite bases of the columns. Under midwave ultraviolet light[pictures 1-3] It lights up in a vivid orange color. Shortwave exposure[pictures 4-5] is more of a deep pink. Longwave fluorescence[pictures 6-7] is similar to SW but brighter and with some purple. The more powerful the illuminating lamp. The brighter the fluorescent response.
