The bottom silvertone finial is a replacement. The shade is clear glass, frosted in a soft, off-white color, with clear stylized leaves and a clear border. Vintage Art Deco Mission 6 Shade Chandelier by Lincoln
Vintage Art Deco Mission Lincoln 6 Light Slipper Chandelier Up for sale is a beautiful. Vintage, Art Deco/Mission chandelier by Lincoln that was removed from a theater some time ago(what stories it could tell! It has 5 original glass slipper shades plus a way cool original sixth that lights up on the bottom. The frosted shades have a stylized thematic floral design cast into the glass, while the metal frame has a hammered look to it with a stylized urn design, which continues into the ceiling bell. When lit, the fixture casts a warm amber glow(see photos) The finish is a copper paint that has been treated with a verdis-green patina finish. Overall dimensions are as follows: approximately 25” high while hanging; 14” wide across the shades. All lights work and the fixture was rewired at some point. Although a side turn switch that is present ... morewas not re-connected at that time(this does not affect it from coming on) The bottom shade does have some minor chipping on the edges from years of being taken out to replace the bulb, but once it is fitted into the fixture, these do not show. All the shades are in excellent shape without nicks, or cracks. Hanging this chandelier is a breeze. Install a ceiling fan pan-shaped junction box with a hook. The fixture chain connects to the hook within the pan box. The fixture bell then is raised to the ceiling to cover the pan-shaped box and held in place with a screw that is in the bell. Please examine the photos closely. I am not offering a refund and am happy to answer questions before you bid. Antique Art Deco Two-Lamp Slip Shade Bat Wing Hanging Ceiling Chandelier
This is a beautiful example of the true height of Art Deco. The metal fixture has a lovely deep gold patina with green and yellow highlights and has matching frosted glass shades. This chandelier measures 11" tall. 12" wide, 6" deep and includes 12" of chain and a matching ceiling canopy that is adjustable for height. Overall, it hangings 27" to 30" down from the ceiling. It has two sockets, each accepting one 60 watt candelabra based bulb. The matching pair of glass shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This listing is for an ORIGINAL solid brass chandelier that was removed from the original home that was built in the 1890's This is currently what I call a"working" piece however it really must be rewired to be considered safe today This is 100% complete and has NO damage. Which is a rare find because most of the time something has been damaged, broken off, or missing and that make the piece nearly impossible to restore and often results in them becoming parts fixtures Well this light fixture can be used as is or will be very easy to restore The fixture has 10 light bulbs(sockets) witch is laid out in a spread of 5 arms each with 2 bulbs on it The overall diameter is 24" and the height is close to 28" The chain then extends 16" up from the top of the fixture to the original brass canopy that covers the electrical ... morebox This light even still have the ORIGINAL mounting hardware for the ceiling electrical box. It spreads a nice warm toned light. The bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri took over in 1917. They had there own shop in Paris yet primarily were a wholesale selling their lamps to shops all over France Europe and the States. Together with Hettier& Vincent they became the largest producer of French art deco lighting in the early 30ies. Petitot produced precious fixtures in high quality heavy bronze with shades from the best French glass manufactorers such as Muller freres. The chandelier on offer has a shade signed Muller freres Luneville. Muller made a range of models with this' waterdrop' ... moredecoration. From small 8" cups to this very large and rare bowl which has a diameter of 44 cm(17-10/32" Normaly french art deco bowls have a diameter of 35cm(13-3/4" The chandelier is 45cm(17-11/16" high and the heavy canopy has a diameter of 24 cm(9-7/16" The bronze mounting is not signed but I show you some pictures of a 1930 catalogue of a the shop Bazerque in Toulouse France. There is some very light wear but it is in excellent overall condition free of any major damage. The patent date on the mounting hardware says 12-25-1934. The wiring actually looks pretty solid but I always recommend having antique light fixtures rewired. It measures approximately 22" tall and 17" in diameter. The main light is thick cast iron with most of its original gold. Green red paints intact.The ceiling cover is a painted embossed steel. The light hangs down 7" and measures 14" across without decorative bulbs in place. It has been totally rewired with all new wiring.
