The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. The hang of the fixture is about 31 inches and can be reduced by taking out some of the diamond shaped chain. The sockets are new and rewired. The candle covers are original and wor n. Antique Cast Iron ART DECO 5 Lite Hanging Chandelier - Awsome
When I purchased this from an estate sale the family told me the chandelier had been stored in an old shed- not quite water tight. They believed it was a Merkel piece but I cannot find any markings on it. The cast iron chandelier is a five arm light fixture with the sockets facing downward. Each socket has a screwed-on ornate Deco design bobech. There are 7 chain loops hanging from the ceiling cap. The cap measures 5" tall with a 4 1/2" diameter top. The chandelier measures 20" bottom finial to top finial and then 16" more for the chain and cap so a total of 36" tall. The arms measure 17 1/2" across from bobech to bobech. As mentioned before the chandelier was in a moist area so there is light surface rust as seen in the photos. The old electrical wire had been cut off at the top of the light so it will need ... moreto be rewired before it can be used lite. They are all signed Hettier Vincent France. It's a hard to find model produced for Hettier& Vincent by Holophane(verreries des Hanots and Verlys) Hettier& Vincent was a well-known french lighting company. With a high quality finish of their lamp fixtures their chandeliers are now much sought after items. As wholesale and retailer they made lamps for the top end of the market and had its shop at the prestigeous and beautiful Place de Vosges in Paris- the groundfloor of number 7. The chandelier has a drop of 80cm(31-1/2" and it's 54 cm wide(21-1/4" It is in excellent condition. Georgeous. Completely original. Intact. This style is extremely rare. Was just removed from room it originally hung in. Beautiful detail inside and out. Dark red flowers, ivory and green colors. Cast Aluminum. This light is from the 30s, the casts for these lights were melted for World War II, they are simply not made anymore and cost thousands to repair and/or duplicate the original. This is completely intact- if used today for lighting, the cloth covered electrical wire should be replaced. Measurements: tip-tip including fitter and chain length-21" glass globe is 8" in length and is 5 3/4" across, fitter(fits on ceiling) is 5 3/4" across. It is truly a very beautiful piece and very hard to find among the pieces from that era, particularly in good, original shape/coloring.

Vtg Art Deco LINCOLN Hanging Ceiling lamp 5 SLIP SHADE Light Fixture chandelier
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage Art Deco circa 1920s- 30s LINCOLN MFG CO 5 slip shade hanging lamp light fixture. Estate fresh and in Very Good to Excellent As Found Condition. These are nice big shades.Larger than most slip shades commonly seen. They measure approx 6-3/4" from top to bottom, and are made of thick heavy glass, weighing approx 1 lbs 8 ounces each. This is an original matching set of shades, all have the same coloration and mold design. All the shades are in Excellent Condition- there is some normal age appropriate light wear but nothing that is significant. A few minor nibbles/ flea bite nicks but overall they are in great shape. One shade does have an inner rim chip but this is barely noticed from the exterior. The coloration and finish is excellent, the shades have a fired on finish. The design mold definition ... moreis excellent as well. There are No cracks,No breaks,no repairs, any wear is lighted to meager flea bite nips and one shade with an inner rim small chip that barely shows through to the front. The fixture itself is in Very Good original condition as well. No Damages- no cracks. No breaks, no repairs, etc. There is some age appropriate wear to the finish- some losses to the paint- nothing major but noted. The frame has not been cleaned and nor has the wiring or sockets been tested. All looks good, but I have not wired it up and tested it. The shades will be packaged with great care. Double boxed and most likely will be shipped separately from the fixture because of size. Hettier& Vincent A french art deco flush mount ceiling fixture made by the famous Parisian shop in art déco lighting Hettier et Vincent. Around 1930 HetV lanced a small line of chandeliers in a modernist style made with shades like the one of this ceiling lamp. It are pieces done in thick moulded glass with a acid engraved structure on the inside. The engraving is very deep. Over one millimeter, and the glass is even and glossy on the outside. High quality glasses produced for Hettier& Vincent by one of the top glass manufactories at the time. They make me think of Muller freres but there is no documentation to be found. All these shades are unsigned. At the end of this ad I show you a picture of a chandelier represented in the Hettier et Vincent catalogue supplement#6. The lamp is in excellent condition. H.Petitot A french 1932/1935 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze by the famous Paris based company of H.Petitot holding three large wonderful panels and three side-shades. The bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri Petitot took over in 1917. He wasn't a retailer at first and sold his lights to lamp shops all over France. Europe and the States. In the early days of art deco they produced precious fixtures in high quality bronze with shades from the best french glass factories such as Muller freres. In the late 30's they changed their style and produced lights in a modernist look. To survive the depression their fixtures often became cheaper- partially done in pressed brass. These beautiful lamps often had opalescent shades in bluish semi-crystal by the Ezan glass company. They ... morecertainly set a trend and nowadays lots of chandeliers are offered also on ebay under the name of Petitot pieces which in reality are often pieces made by other companies such as Ranc freres Lacroix or names nowadays forgotten. The model chandelier I present was first made around 1931 and in the 5 years that followed Petitot made fixtures in several versions all holding these large panels in combination with this model side shade. Both canopy and other parts of the mounting are marked with the usual Petitot initials AP for Antonin Petitot. The three panels are signed Petitot France. They were produced by Muller freres: they also exist unsigned and are also represented in the old Muller catalogues. For the side shades Petitot chose a well known model Degué shade and ordered unsigned ones for his chandeliers. Normaly Degué sold this model with its own Degué signature but for Petitot they made a new unsigned mould. The chandelier has a drop of 88 cm(34-5/8" and a diameter of 60.5 cm(23-3/4" It is in excellent condition. The fixture has been replated and the lamp is newly wired. Ready to use. VINTAGE ONE OF A KIND ART DECO CRYSTAL GLASS HORSE RHINESTONE LEATHER CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. ONE OF A KIND, CUSTOM MADE chandelier. This GORGEOUS fixture is approximately 15 years old and was custom ordered for the previous owner who owned and operated a large equine boarding/riding stable facility. The owner passed away and we were fortunate to purchase this spectacular fixture at auction. The chandelier is Art Deco in form and features 8 arms/lights. Four of the arms display large glass or crystal horses which are attached to the center chandelier body in"hitching post" fashion. These molded sculptures have a silver colored, cast metal mane which fits perfectly over the glass. The horses are similar to crystal figures made by Baccarat and Waterford and are also similar to Steuben Glass horses. The glass is not marked, however, and these manufacturers typically always mark their ... morepieces. I just want to give you a sense of how the figurines are made. Each horse has reigns which are made of rhinestone chains. These chains capture the light and sparkle like diamonds. They attach at the horse's mane and travel upward where they attach to the upper body of the fixture(hitching post) The other 4 arms of the chandelier alternate in between the horses and they are raised. All of the bobeches are thick, square glass/crystal and have a very slight curvature/dip in the middle. They slide off of the candle sleeves easily and are held on by the light bulbs. The candle sleeves are also metal with a silvered finish. The chandelier has a brown, leather wrapped center column/body. The cross arms, which house the horse figures, are also leather wrapped with metal trim. This is an incredible fixture. There are no manufacturer's marks but this is an extremely well made piece of art. It is in very good condition with only EXTREMELY minor signs of age/use. There is nothing distracting, only a couple of VERY minor(almost indiscernible) scuffs to the leather. Venini Murano Art Deco Period Glass Chandelier(Click to Enlarge) Click to Enlarge) This wonderful and very rare amber colored glass chandelier is attributed to Napoleone Martinuzzi(1892-1977) for Venini. Measures 30" wide by 37" tall. There is some old wiring intact. But wiring should be inspected by an electrician and upgraded as necessary. Ceramic bulb sockets appear to be original, and there is no evidence of any repairs or restorations anywhere on the piece. Only known hallmark is the stamped mark of the metalworking company that provided the framework for the piece. Additional images forwarded upon request. Where I take an already great chandelier with the quality you would expect and turn it into an even more fabulous working piece of art. This Chandelier has it all. The detailing is intricate and so very beautiful. The filigree body is a very heavy metal in an aged bronze patina finish. I am not sure of the metal, but it is thick, not thin or flimsy. The many embellishments are mostly glass and crystal with some lucite. A.OLLIER A stunning very rare french 1925-1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated bronze or solid brass with shades by Ollier. The fixture holds six rare moulded-pressed glass panels signed A.Ollier France. The central bowl decorated in the same pattern as the panels is a model which is Always unsigned yet a well known shade by Verreries des Hanots. Both panels and bowl are represented in the Ollier catalogue I show at the end of this ad. The catalogue is no part of the auction. A.Ollier was a shop and Wholesale in Paris( 21 rue de l'Hirondelle and 6 place St.Michel) dealing in art deco lighting lamp shades by numerous French and Bohemian glass factories. They also offered complete chandeliers and lamps. The panels of this chandelier were designed and produced by Verreries des Hanots on special command by Ollier. Hanots being like Verlys ... morea part of the Holophane company. One of the largest glass manufacturers in France. They produced art glasses for lighting in moulded-pressed glass under the name of verreries des Hanots. For vases etc the brandname Verlys was used) The chandelier on offer is in excellent condition. The nickel plated fixture repeating the decoration of the shades is of excellent quality. Very fine detailed work. All shades are in superb condition. As you can see on the picture taken from the interior of the chandelier the six panels have chips around the edges. It are no damages. The maker of the chandelier deliberately rounded the lower edges of the panels to make them fit into the chandelier mounting. The chandelier has a drop of 92 cm(36-1/4" and it's 55 cm wide(17-3/4" I have renickeled and patinated the fixture and it comes rewired. It holds seven B22 bayonet sockets. This Art deco chandelier with a Spanish revival flavor was manufactured. During the 1920's- 30's.The chandelier begins with a canopy embellished with Spanish detail, and an ornate stem attaching to the chain. Beneath, the chandelier body is an elaborate design with red, metallic gold and green accents. Five chandelier arms, joined by a band adorned with a Spanish revival motif are between each of the arms. This chandelier has been restored and has been rewired, all parts are original. The original chain shows some pitting, but has been refinished to match the body of the fixture. Winning bidder can opt for new perfect chain. The new chain matches but is lighter weight oval links. The fixture was returned to its original color. The ugly flaking paint was stripped to the bare metal. Cute 3-light Art Deco Chandelier, chrome & original glass, ready to hang.
Take a break from the standard slip shade chandelier! Three arms and a bonus( an electrical plug next to one of the arms(you can just see it in photo#5. To the left of the right arm) I'm sure I wouldn't use it for ironing, myself, although that's probably happened in the past. The chrome's in so-so condition, but the shades are impossibly cute(the one on the right has got more of its original patina than the others and is a touch darker as a result; if you want them all exactly the same just scrub off the patina on the one that's darker) Great for a small room, or entryway or hallway. Purchased from a party who had several fixtures from a Mansion on the East Coast. This is a very rare style Antique Chandelier Balloon shape. It is perfect for a Nursery. Foyer, Dining area. It should be put somewhere that it can be admired. The chandelier is one that will not have a match. It is early 1900s, and looks as if it has been professionially rewires and works wonderfully as a light fixture should. The candleabra bulbs should be a flame style, but we only have the round ones. It would be even more beautiful with decorative bulbs. The body is meade of small glass beads and they are carefully held together with wire, and the prisms are crystall. The amber glass balls are all odd shaped, none perfectly round and with air bubbles in them. The candle covers are rough, and one is chipped at the bottom. Virden Antique Art Deco Craftsman 5 Light Ceiling Fixture Chandelier Part Nice
When this was purchased it was thought to be a flush ceiling fixture. Which very well can be. Originally it was a chandelier with a stem and a ceiling cap. The stem is broken and the cap is not longer. The fixture is a little dirty compared to some. The wiring has been cut but the sockets remain and they are in good condition for restoration. Nice original coloring, some of the greens and reds still present, overall nice colors and should be able to clean and rewire without much effort, just need to determine the use for it. Please see the pictures, is fairly heavy cast metal of some sort. The width is 14 1.2 and the depth if a flush fixture is 4 3/4 and that is without the finial as you can see that is also not there. Lincoln Art Deco Craftsman Antique Slip Shade Chandelier Fixture Frame 6 Light
These are very nice once all together. This is a Lincoln signed inside and complete frame only. This design has the center bowl and the five surrounding shades that will fit nicely once acquired. This is for the frame only and the ceiling canopy. It looks as if there remains some of the gold, not a lot, and still looks good. The wiring was done somewhere in the past and really looks like a mess. Good thing is this fixture has the center cover for the wiring and it will be easy to rewire. The fixture is dirty and so are the sockets, but they look good to keep and use. The 3 way turn switch was also replaced and could possibly be reused if desired. Art Deco hammered Bronze ceiling light w matching sconces 1920 chandelier
Art Deco period hammered light fixture with 5 light holders. Chain and canopy. There are also 2 matching wall sconces. All rewired and ready to be hung. These are out of a grand home in Indiana. The chandelier measures 18" across the bottom. The body is 21" long and when you include the chain and canopy the drop is 39" It is much more attractive than the pictures show. There are no breaks, cracks or damage that I can find. It is about 20 lbs. There are also two matching sconces. The sconces measure 9 1/4" tall and 4 3/8" wide. There are no cracks, breaks or damage. The original decorative nuts for fastening them to the wall are there and the switches are operable. The back of the sconces are embossed: Halcolite Pat applied for. The bronze on these fixtures is wonderful with a hammered design including the canopy.

THE SHADE IS TRANSLUCENT MILK GLASS AND IT MEASURES 6" IN DIAMETER x 4-1/2" TALL, SO IT'S NOT A REAL LARGE LIGHT FIXTURE. THE SHADE HAS A LOVELY RIBBED DESIGN WITH SCALLOPED EDGES. THE CEILING ATTACHMENT BELL AND SOCKET ARE BRASS, AND IT HAS A PULL CHAIN OFF/ON SWITCH. THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE PIECE IS ABOUT 21 INCHES, THE LIGHT FIXTURE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.
