And a center globe that lights up, for a total ... moreof 4 lights total. It would need to be restored. Although does have a vintage look that many people do like, so I will leave the restoring to you. The brass is painted. And there are some dings, scratches, and stains on it. It comes complete with 3 orange chimney shades. And center white globe. One of the orange shades has a small chip on the top rim of it, and the center of another has some chipping, but none of that would be noticable when hanging in the cups. See photos. The fixture would need to be rewired. As one of the arms has a cut wire, and the wiring is older(although probably not original) and needs to be rewired and restored. The 3 orange chimney globes are 5 1/4 inches tall. And 4 1/2 inches at their base. the circle top rim is 2 1/4 inches outer, and 1 3/8 inches inner. The large white center globe is 9 1/8 inches inner. And 10 inches outer, and is about 6 inches deep, while about 12 inches at it's widest. One of the center globe's bolts to fasten it is missing, but it does stay tight with the remaining ones) There is a chain to hang it. But no ceiling cup. I have owned this lamp for at least 30 years. It was pretty old even back then, and it's been safely in a box since I bought it. I was always going to restore and use it, as I love these type of light fixtures, but as many things, never got to it, and decided it's time to let it go to a new wonderful home, where it can be enjoyed once again! Th is is a five light chandelier with five arms that hold chains that lead to a small bonnet and that is where the canopy me ets. The arms hold a cons olidated glass slip on smoke bell over each socket. The glass is in great condition with some minor not noticeable age chips around the edges. For the age they are exceptional. The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. The hang of the fixture is about 31 inches and can be reduced by taking out some of the diamond shaped chain. The sockets are new and rewired. The candle covers are original and wor n. Very unique and original. From the 1930s. Hanging hardware will come with the fixture. Bulbs are not included. The width is 19 1/2 inches. Your time and consideration is appreciated as you are by us. Title Superb 1930's Art Deco Ezan Glass Ceiling Light, This is fabulous French art deco chandelier dating from the 1930's. It is by the renowned glass maker Ezan and is signed on all the glass parts. Complete with all it's original'p âte de verre' melting ice glass shades in excellent condition. The frame is made from alloy with a copper colour coating and has very attractive arms with a pierced fretwork design. It was completely dismantled in our workshop. Cleaned and fully rewired. Materials: The fixture is made in a strict geometrical Machine Age style and completely chrome-plated. The chandelier has a big and heavy glass lampshade underneath which is adorned with a reliefed and very detailed roses decor. Outstanding 10 Light Chandelier This listing is for an awesome vintage 10 light. 5 arm, cast ceiling light fixture; complete with over 350 crystal glass prisms. My pictures do not do it justice! The fixture measures nearly 24" across; and extends 27" from the ceiling canopy. The canopy measures 4 3/4" across. Certainly one of the nicest I've seen; in detail and condition. There are a few larger crystals, but most of them are the same. size. You can string them any way you like when you receive the light. This is a really beautiful antique light fixture. It is a hanging ceiling mount chandelier type fixture for restoration. I think it is 1930's and has an art deco look to it. There is a clear glass shaft with really thick glass. looks much thicker then normal glass shafts. It holds 4 standard bulbs. The glass arm measures 12.5 inches long. Overall 34.5" inches long. With only minimal chipping on the alabaster shades, and a light patina on the bronze frame. Art nouveau deco geometric nickel bronze ? Bomb chandelier Light Lustre French ?
I will try to describe this as best as I can; I am not a lighting expert but I do know a nice thing when I see it! If I am in error in any way. I welcome a polite correction and will add to the listing accordingly. This light fitting is the most wonderful shape. It puts me in mind of an archetypal WW1 bomb with it's upper fins. It is extremely heavy and although I'm not absolutely sure what it is made out of, it could be bronze that was nickle plated/ gilded, originally. It weighs just under 8kg, it is 75cms from the bottom point to the top of the loop fitting and it is 55cms across it's widest point. I haven't attempted to clean it in any way as it looks great the way it is. I'm sure a new owner would be the best one to decide how to use or restore it if need be. Apart from what I presume is obvious loss to the original ... morefinish, there is no damage that I can see, no dents or breakages. The shade sconces are a little out of shape here and there but nothing serious. Of course, the whole thing would need re-wiring and new bulb fittings installed but it will look sensational in the right room, I'm sure. There is a chain attachment at the top with no ceiling rose but I'm sure that this would not be too much of a problem to source. I do have 5 pink satin shades that came with the fitting and will post a picture anon. I think however that some frosted Muller or Degue shades would suit it better. Obviously the postage for this item is going to be very high- around £25 to £30 for Europe and certainly around the £100 mark to the USA. The fins at the top of the fixture and the 5 lower arms do unscrew. So it would be fairly straight forward to re-assemble. I am happy to post abroad but please do bear in mind the costs. I am happy of course to mail within the UK but would really prefer personal pick-up/ collection. If possible. I have acquired a handful of lighting pieces from this period. Here is a beautiful Art Deco. 5 slip shade chandelier. Here are the details and description of this wonderful light. Measure 33 inch long from ceiling to bottom finial. 17 1/2 diameter with the slip shades installed. 9 inches of original chain, ceiling mount is 3" diameter, with a 6 inch base mount and adjustment for the post. Two maker marks are stamped on the light. 4205 GL.F is on base of the light and the crown is marked 4140 CAN. I am unable to identify the maker. I had the light professionally rewired and with all new sockets installed. So you don't have to worry about the safety of this light. Socket size is standard type B Candelabra pictured with 60 watt bulbs, included. 5 frosted shades measure 4 1/2 inches wide X 9 inches long. 2 of the shades have small chips on the inside edge. Art Deco Chandelier Eagle Heads Architectural Antique
Art Deco chandelier with three eagles each mounted on the center ring and holding by it's beak a light fixture with a frosted glass bell or tulip shaped globe. Metal fixture with three round sections with hammered effect and faux painted to look like bronze. Each ring separated by chain. Eagles look to have been gold painted or gilt. Rewired and ceramic sockets redone. I do not know the exact history. But I do believe this came out of a New York building. Condition: Look closely at the pictures. MISSING CENTER GLOBE. There should be a globe on the bottom with about a 10" or a little less lip. There is overall wear and loss to the finish. Beautiful slip shades for chandelier or sconces. The auction is for 4 of them. This are very rare they only one I have seen is in the website vintagelights on the slip shade first page and they go for over 200.00 each. 2 of the shades have minor wear and tear. Ther other 2 have some chipping. The chipping is not that noticeable when you attach the shade. See the last pictures for the chipping They measure about 7 1/8 at the longest and 4 3/8 at the widest. art deco sconces ( Markel) chandelier
UP for sale is a beautiful set of 4 Markel wall sconces. I bought them at an estate sale some time ago and had them restored. I even had them redo the electrical sockets and switches. The guy that restored them put original Leviton turn switches on all 4 wall sconces. I only have two of the glass shades and two are missing. They have some damage like cracks and chips please look at pictures and judge for yourself. I also have another set of 4 of the same sconces but the were only repainted and don't have the sockets or switches. I will be putting them up soon. Vintage Antique Art Deco Pan Light, Chandelier c1920's
Stunning Art Deco Glass Globe Pan Light-Circa 1920- The chandelier is in original condition including vintage cloth wiring. It also has antique Yost sockets. The globe of course was the center piece. The globe is clear with frost acid etchings. As well as the 4 socket lights. These are in very good condition. This includes original matching ceiling cap. The pictures tell the story. The base is in good shape the major issue I can see is some fraying in the caps that hold the shades. These are still fully functional and should not be a problem for usage. Antique custard glass chandelier shades set of 7 Art Deco Arts&Crafts era
A nice set of very old art deco/ arts& crafts chandelier lamp shades. Cream/ custard glass. yellowish- off white) Set of 7. Dimensions are Neck opening diameter 1 1/2" Top Opening diameter 3 3/4" Overall diameter 5 1/2" Height 3" These look great lit. A nice soft light. Weight is about 1/2 lb each. Required packing will make this a relatively heavy package of about 6 lbs. Although the glass is thick it is delicate. Top opening is a fairly rough cut( see photos) and appear to be a mold blown glass. The neck opening is polished quite smooth.
