I have only one, which is"Spring Ploughing" The tile is encased in a Pewter frame with an intricate scroll pattern around the edge adding charm. I have never seen another one. The tile has crazing as with much of the very old ceramic works, and there are several very fine hairline fissures. And the frame, which I believe may be pewter, has a nick in the edge. This is a rather unique and old earth tone tile featuring a floral(poppy) majolica design. The tile has crazing but no cracks or chips. It measures 6” square by 7/16" thick and weighs over 1 pound. Antique Victorian Silver Mesh/ Jeweled PENDANT Porcelain Tile Romantic Scene
ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SILVER FILAGREE PENDANT w/ Handpainted Porcelain Tile and Pink Faceted Rhinestones 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" Oval x 5/8" Thick This is a very EYE CATCHING& UNIQUE PENDANT. The base/ lowest layer is a'flower' or starburst of 22 petals that radiate outwards. Within each hollow petal. Is a very intricate'meshy' pattern of finite silver strands, beads, swirls, etc. SOOOOO intricate. The next layer has 4 faceted rhinestones on beaded silver mounts attched to the base silver mesh. Above the silver are 4 pairs of detailed leaves- you can see margins, curvatures and veins in each leaf. They are evenly spaced around the pendant. The leaves are shinier silver than the lower layer, so they contrast against it. They only touch the lower layer at the base of their stems and at the 3rd layer, which is a solid ... morering of faceted pink rhinestones. Each rhinestone has a silver smooth margin. The final layer in a rounded porcelain tile, which depicts a man and woman sitting below a tree in a courting position- very romantic! 4 Prongs hold the tile securely. While this seems like a large. Heavy piece, it is actually fairly light, as there is a lot of airspace between the 1st and 2nd layer, but because of the lower layer's dome shape, it appears as background. There is a hanging loop on a swivel on the top. Attached from the back side. I think this loop was added to make it into a pendant, as it appears a little newer than the rest of the piece. I think this piece was originally sewn into a garment, as there a 4 slightly rough spots than form a square on the back. This is only noticeable from the back- they don't jut out, but you can see them. There is a little tarnish. But when I applied some silver polish cream, the cloth came back black, so I imagine this piece will clean up beautifully, and you'll have yourself a splendid and unique piece. You're looking at an ANTIQUE 19" x 12" CURVED TIN CEILING TILE. This tile came out of a PRE-1900 building in St Joe. Mi. I renovated the space in which this tin ceiling tile came out of, at 300 State St, St Joe, Mi. The tile is painted blue over a whitish grey, over the tin. The tile is in good vintage condition.please see pics to verify condition. Paint can be removed. There is some rust on the back, but should be able to be removed. I did a small spot with a steel wool pad and no effort to test. There is a hole on one side, see last pic. Please see pics for condition verification. The Netherlands measurements: 130x130 mm; 8mm thick condition: very good. No cracks, no restorations this tile has been used and therefore has very slight damages on the sides. Caused during the removal- please see the picture Historical Contents of Dutch Delft Blue Tiles Delftware wall tiles. Typically with a painted design covering only one(rather small) blue and white tile, were ubiquitous in Holland and widely exported over Northern Europe from the 16th century on, replacing many local industries. Several 18th century royal palaces had porcelain rooms with the walls entirely covered in porcelain in tiles or panels. Surviving examples include ones ... moreat Capodimonte, Naples, the Royal Palace of Madrid and the nearby Royal Palace of Aranjuez. Between 1640 and 1800 Chinese porcelain was most successfully imitated in Delft. Antique 1893 Arts & Crafts Oak Ball & Stick Fireplace Mantle w/Tile & Cast Iron
Up for auction is one of the nicest Victorian Arts& Crafts ball& stick fireplace mantles I have ever come across. This mantle is marked 1893 and is made of gorgeous golden oak. This appears to be a complete fireplace mantle and surround pulled out as a whole. The salvaged tiles have wear marks that exactly match the wood surround and the same is for the cast iron fireplace cover. Everything matches up beautifully forming a complete mantle surround as it looking in what must have been an incredible Victorian. This is a rare surround from a short Arts& Crafts period and has wonderful details such as spiderwebs in the cast iron. And detailed leaves carved in the oak. There is a lot to see and describe and it is of the finest hand carving done at that period. This is a ball& stick design with turned spools and an upper and lower ... moregalleries. There are three shelves and a wonderful beveled mirror that fits perfectly and was professionally installed. The tile is a celery green and has cracks from removal but has been wonderfully mounted on a hard backer and is ready to install. This mantle would be a fairly easy project for a builder to manage. Every spool is original to the mantle and the refinishing done to it is a professional job. This is very similar to what it must have looked like new. Clean bright oak with wonderful carved details easily seen without age darkened shellacks that turn Victorian oak a blackish brown and suck the life out of the wood and the room. This is cheerfully celebrating the skill of 1800's craftsmen at the peak of their talent. Lastly. The cast iron fireplace frame and removeable cover is absolutely stunning. It has a hearth scene with a man sits with is dog and his pipe. To his right is a wife pouring water from a jug. At the bottom appear to be scene of children playing on wagons. Antique Minton Tile Pot Stand. Sheep and Cow Subject.
You are bidding on this vintage Minton Tile; metal framed to become a pot stand. The tile theme is grazing sheep and a cow. With farm outbuilding and trees in the background. Tile itself is very sound with no sign of crazing or damage to main surface. Slight surface scratching through use. The underside is fully marked-Minton's- China Works- Stoke on Trent' and there is also a large crest mark in one of the corners. There is a surface hairline crack on the base, but this is not visible on the main upper surface. Metal surround frame and feet appear to be in a pewter material.

Antique barrel ridge cap tile
I have approx. 400 of these antique barrel ridge cap tiles. They have one small hole on the tapered end for the fastener. All cap tiles are tapered so that fit together nicely. I found them in a 100 year old building and ave no idea how old they are. They dont seem to be asbestos but I will not guarantee it. They appear to be new old stock. They dont seem to be weathered at all. I will sell each piece or whole pallet for a discount. I have no idea how to price the shipping so how ever many you buy I will put them together and how ever much it is to ship them is what it will be. These are a warehouse find.Made in liverpool england in the 1930's,they were orig.used on sidewalks in England to let natural sunlight filter through to illuminate the basements of their shops,much like the frank lloyd wright tiles were set in window of shops to amplify the sunlight coming into stores. These are structural,they are massive. Most are approx 101/2 inches square& weigh 5-6 lbs each. I talked to a glass floor tile mfg& he said he could duplicate them for $150 each not counting shipping and handleing& they wouldn't be antique/old. You are bidding on an Absolutely Breathtaking Victorian Art Nouveau Tile. Most probably made by Pilkingtons, and dating from the late 1800s! Measuring 6" x 6" this Stunningly decorative tile boats a warm yellow palette. With a wonderfully designed organic Pine-Cone and Foliage motif- it really is a stunner! This most decorative tile is in good condition with minimal age wear- with just a small nibble to one edge and maybe only a few miniscule pips to the sides here and there. Which really does not detract at all and is only mentioned for ebay accuracy(see photos) Lovely! Measuring 6" x 6" This Beautifully decorative tile boats a fantastically intricate pattern of hearts intermingled with foliage designs in blue and white! Lovely! The tile is in good condition with minimal age wear- there is a small nibble to one corner edge and a few pips around the edges. Along with 2 miniscule glaze pips on the tile surface, but these do not detract at all and are only mentioned for ebay accuracy(see photos) The wonderful decoration is all slightly misted and blurred in true flow blue fashion.
