Antique Riddle Co. Design Light Sconce Fixture Metal Pair # 531 for Restoration
Up for bid we have a great pair of cast metal Riddle Co. Sconces USA made. They do need restoration and one is missing the"lamp" holder but these are really beautiful. They have great patina but it may be too much for using as a working decorative piece. For a collector these are perfect to me. They are ornate and the designs are plain to see. The number of this patent by Riddle is 531 and is very easy to read on the back of the sconces. They are a matching set as you can see by the numbers. Please look carefully at the photos. A signed Lightolier“After Sunset” ceiling light with a custard glass shade. It is about 8” in diameter and 9” tall. The shade is in very good vintage condition. With minor chipping on the fitter. This is hidden when the shade is mounted in the ceiling fixture. The rest of the glass(all that you can see when the globe is mounted) is in excellent vintage condition. The painted steel fixture has some wear– it has a bit of rust on the inside. And the paint is flaked and chipped a bit– please see the photos. The Paulding porcelian socket is not original. But works well. I do not have the ceiling mounting hardware for this light. As you can see from the pictures this vintage light worked when photographed. However. Antique Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture Neo Classical Globe Downlight
Hi. Auction is for an antique brass ceiling fixture. This was removed from an old house I once lived in. Perfect for your turn of the century home. Fixture has been totally rewired. Upon inspection, the original working switch sockets revealed a 1914 patent date. There are four lights circling the fixture and one inside. The only flaws are slight stress cracks in the bottom brass section, seems to be from the weight of the hanging lights. These are cosmetic and do not affect the integrity of the fixture. The most special part I feel is the large glass globe downlight. It is gold in color with etched neo classical designs. It is in perfect condition-no flakes or cracks. The first two pictures show the light with original parts and two original bulbs that still work. This is how you would receive the fixture. I added a picture with glass shades ... moreto show what you could do optionally-I look the look. Shades are from a modern fan with lights, so your choice of shades would not be difficult to find or expensive. Shades are not included. The last picture shows the globe unlit. Dimensions are 14 inches for the round brass section, with the globe 13 inches. Light fixture is about 12 inches top to bottom, not including the finial. The fixture has two sided of very think glass with beveled edges and two sides solid with refectors on the inside for directional lighting.I'm not sure of the age of this fixture but it looks to be very old. the fixture has some dings and dents as well as paint peeling and some rusting.The fixture has not been tested but I don't think there's lot that could be wrong except maybe the socket or wiring and that should be an easy fix. this fixture would make for a great restore project. Antique Glass flush mount ceiling light fixture Daisy & Btton Pattern
Antique flush mount clear glass ceiling light. Base has a white coating on the inside of the clear glass. It also has a pattern that looks similar to a birds foot print with three small marks with a small space inbetween them and they are raised in glass. Middle of the light the clear glass is in a button daisy pattern. it does have a seem on this part. The shade is a very pointy hobnail or dew drop pattern with some points smaller and some larger. I believe this dates early 1900's to 1930's due to the knob and tube wiring it is copper wire with cloth cover. Unknown maker I researched a consideral amount of time trying to find out what company was the maker and was not able to find another one or one with similar patterns together. For the age it is in very good condition the shade does not have any chips or cracks that i could feel ... moreor see. The middle daisy and button pattern part also does not have any chips or cracks that i could feel or see. The base has two holes for mounting it to the ceiling it has a small amount of the white missing on the inside around the holes and there is a small chip on the edge of one of the mounting holes on the outside of the clear glass. Also there is a small amount of ceiling paint on the inside edge that sits flush against the ceiling which should not be seen when installed.it might be possible to clean this off. Also on the inside edge there is a small spot of white missing. Please look over all Pictures i have tried to include detailed pictures for you to see. I would recomend rewiring this which would be very easy The base comes apart very easily. I was not able to test it before acquiring this peice. I did a contract on clearing out a old home that was damaged from Hurricane Sandy here in Crisfield MD. Due to the home being abandon and had been flooded there was no power.This light was in the entrance by the front door and was the only original fixture left.the home also had knob and tube wiring. The light was not flooded.The water came aprox 2 feet into the hom

Here is a vintage or antique pendant light fixture shade. It is amber glass that has been blown into a iron wire cage frame creating an intentional bubble design. The metal collar at the top looks like it originally had black paint on it as there is still some left on it. Most of the rest of the wiring has rust. Which actually gives it a very rustic look for a modern décor. You can see bubbles in the glass which adds even more character. The rim of glass is rough and was cut a bit uneven. It measures about 12" high and roughly 8" wide at the widest glass points. It has a squared shape. The opening at the top is about 3 3/4" across, so I think it would fit about a 4" fixture. It appears to be all solid brass except the canopy may be plated white metal(it is quite heavy) It has two arms with sockets and the shade holders have holes with beads hanging from them. Both electrical sockets are marked" HUBBELL" and they both have acorn pulls chains. It measures approximately 12" long from the ceiling, down to the bottom of the beads x 12" across x 9 1/2" across the ceiling canopy x 5 1/8" wide(at the ceiling canopy) This fixture is in very good condition but the hanging beads were changed at one time, to plastic. There is only minor wear to the brass and there are tiny set screws along the edge of the canopy, but two are missing(one ... moreon each end) I see no dents or breaks to the brass. It has been re-wired, at some time in the past) and works fine. Both pull chains can turn it on or off. It throws a much prettier light then the photos show and has a terrific 1920's feel. Antique Brass Metal 5-Arm 6-socket Hanging Ceiling Fixture Light Parts/Refurbish
Up for Auction! Antique ceiling fixture for restoration or parts. Constructed of both brass and silver metal it has 5 brass arms with sockets and seperate switches and a center socket with it's own switch. The bottom of the rim has holes to add crystal prisms as well as the hanging metal spiral in the middle. And the bottom socket plates. Two of the sockets are missing the decorative bottom plates. The switches appear to b e in working condition. Three are marked Hubbell. Two are marked Arrow and one is unmarked. Marked Pat. Applied for Dec. 1. 1924. A couple of the socket covers have some small dings. Please look at the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Sold as is for parts or restoration. ANTIQUE LAMP SHADES 3 PULL CIELING VINTAGE LIGHT FIXTURE CIRCA 1930'S ART DECO
Antique light fixture shades with 3 holes for pull switch. These remain in very good condition with a couple tiny flea bites to the inside which are unnoticeable. Both measure 11.25" wide. One has a lovely frosted peach or Salmon color with a ribbing and coin dot type design, while the other is an Gorgeous frosted light lemon/ opaque color with a ribbed outside, topped with a coiled rope design and smooth inside. Antique Ornate 1920's Art Deco Cast Metal Hanging Ceiling Lamp Light Fixture
This is a very nice 1920's Art Deco cast metal ceiling fixture with three lights. It measures aprox. 16" across the top. 12 1/2" center to center of the sockets. It is nicely paint decorated and in good condition but does need to be rewired, no breaks or damage. We also have a second similar hanging fixture from the same home presently listed. For sale is an antique cast iron medallion from a 1920's ceiling light fixture. Marked"M.L.F. Inc B306" and"patent 2-8-27- 71935" No cracks or chips in the iron. See pictures for condition of paint. Just over 7" in diameter, with raised flowers. It extends from the ceiling about 4 1/2" and has an opening of about 1 1/8"

The shade measures about 16 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. These shades are of such high quality that you rarely will find any imperfections to them. Notice the wonderful glass swirl finial. Wow! The porcelain body is in as good of condition as I have seen the gold is intact and the floral print is excellent.
