Beautiful Pressed Clear and Frosted Glass Light ... moreShade Cover. Looks like a 3 part mold was used to produce this glass light cover shade. Large ceiling light cover globe shade measuring about 13" diameter. Heavy and weighs almost 5 lbs. before packing. About 3-1/4" deep from opening to center fitter hole. Fitter hole is about 7/16" diameter and does have a shallow chip about 3/8" x 1/4" Barely noticeable and has since become smooth from age. This glass light cover shade has flat sides that measure 1-1/4" high. Sides are 7/16" thick and clear glass. Beautiful raised nouveau style detail to the flat side of this glass shade. Consists of large oval bubbles that are separated with two deep cut horizontal lines crossing through the center of the oval and connected with smaller oval bubble with raised petals that spray upward and out as well as downward and out. Creating a continuous connection with the larger oval bubble pattern alternating entire diameter of light cover shade. The top of this light cover shade domes slightly and has a fine cut panel design pattern that begins 1-1/4" from fitter hole and fans out getting slightly larger as it meets the flat side of shade. The very center of the shade, directly surrounding the 1/2" fitter hole, is a clear smooth glass, with a smaller version of the design pattern adorning flat side of the light fixture shade. Fitter hole is 1/4" diameter with old brass metal(attaches to magnet) washer 3/8" diameter and then 1-1/4" diameter clear glass with raised petals that flare up and out alternating with center portion of oval bubble separated by two cut horizontal centered lines. This pattern alternates all the way around the center of the light cover shade. You can see that this is a smaller version of the pattern design that covers the flat side of the shade. The glass is beautiful with the carmel marbled slag glass pieces and small rectangular stain glass panels all the way around alternating blue and red. It will need rewired because it still has the original cloth wiring coming out the top. The porcelain socket is in great condition. And it does come with the metal ceiling plate which I think is brass. This light has been sitting in storage for quit a while. I did not realize it's beauty until I took a couple of layers of dirt off. It can still use another layer to come off so it will need a good cleaning. No chips or cracks. The ceiling cone on the end is 4 1/2" in diameter by 3 3/4" tall. The 3 single arm fixtures each measure 32" long from final tip to bottom of rod with the one with the ceiling cup measuring 36 1/2" long to bottom of cup and one measures 8" across the arm with the ceiling cone measuring 4 1/2" in diameter by 3 3/4" tall, one measures 8 1/4" across and the other is 9" across. Nice Old Antique Victorian Ceiling -Hallway Light Fixture Marked GB 240
I have up for sell a nice old light fixture that came out of a house here in Indianapolis. I am not for sure how old this light fixture is but i do know that it is old and heavy so it could be made of cast iron but i am not for sure being that i don't know anything about light fixtures. It's marked on the bottom GB 240. It has really great detail and if you give it a cleaning it will bring out the red and green. The large 14.5" thick art glass shade is fired in a pale beige/cream color, and has a large clear glass open bottom, designed to disperse the light down. It has an incredible center glass cone that fits over the large cone shaped aluminum fixture. The shade hangs from 3 rods attached to the fixture. The aluminum fixture has been stripped& refinished to match the original color. It houses the original porcelain socket. This antique(probably 1930's era) ceiling light fixture is made of metal. Possibly copper or a copper wash over base metal for the circular portion. The arms and bulb housings appear to be cast and are probably base metal. The circular center cap was probably flush mounted to a ceiling(mounting screws or connectors are NOT present) Four hanging electrical housings with individual old plastic turn knobs on each hang decorative cast arms. The on/off knobs are black and are marked"Weber" There are no other manufacturer markings on the piece. The center round cap is about 11.75" in diameter. Excluding the arms. Diameter from the outer edge of arm to outer edge of opposite arm is about 16" The very old bits of wiring still present are obviously not usable. This is an old 3 chain hanging glass light globe. The glass is a little over 10" diameter. Each chain is about 5.5" long. There is no cracks or chips in the glass. Up for auction is a pair of Art Deco chandeliers. These chandeliers are in excellent condition for their age. With amazing details and effects. The total length/drop of these gorgeous fixtures is approximately 22" with shades at about 12" wide. Both in good condition with only slight signs of use! Each shade is designed in a beautiful grapes or berries motif between frosted and clear glass. The top rim is in a geometric pattern complementing the column and bobeche with a sunburst/flower center. Each shade is finished off with nickel accents and a crystal ball to reflect the light nicely. Each fixture has been fitted with new nickel canopies. Spacers, chain, etc. Each fixture has new wiring and features a new double cluster socket. These fixtures do NOT include light bulbs. Antique Ornate Brass B & H 4 Arm Hanging Electric Light Fixture Gas Lamp Era
Antique ornate brass signed Bradley and Hubbard four arm hanging electric light fixture. Condition is good no dents or damage. Was working when taken down. Fixture hangs 27" from the ceiling, 20" diameter and has 2 1/4" fitter shade rings. Fixture is marked B&H on the ceiling cap, see photo. Fixture has ornate cast brass floral decoration. Lamp is all brass except bottom finial that is plated with wear. Fixture will be taken apart for shipping and will need wiring reconnected or replaced. Lamp has old Edison socket shells, interiors have been replaced. Fixture was restored several years ago, wiring may need checked and updated. Beautiful early lighting fixture of the gas light era. Up For Auction! This is a really great vintage Ceramic Floral light fixture for a bathroom or vanity. I t has 2 light bulb fixtures and operates with the use of a pull string. It has all original wiring so it will likely need to be rewired before installation. It also has the original brass hardware. It is made out of ceramic and has a great hand painted raised floral pattern. The light is in EXCELLENT Vintage condition. There are no major chips or cracks. It doesn't have any major crazing. There is some light paint residue around the edges where meets the wall. It is very minor and could likely be removed. Antique Globe from an Old Exterior Sconce Light Fixture
DESCRIPTION: This is an antique globe for an old exterior sconce light fixture. I removed it from my old victorian era house 10 years ago and it has been in the garage since that time. It was mounted on an old exterior sconce. I cleaned up the globe and it looks in good shape considering how old it is. Has a very nice molded star in the clear glass light magnifier.
