Antique hanging hearth copper apple butter pot has a wonderful patina. Wear marks you expect to see in a well loved and well used example of Early American cookware. The bottom shows fire marks. Under the rolled rim and the edge of the bottom is evidence of dovetailing beneath another metal. Antique Singer 15 27 VS2 Sewing Machine Extension Leaf Table Hinges 1880s 1890s
This is an Antique Pair of Singer Sewing Machine Hinges. These fit the extension leaf tables from the 1880's and 1890's that have a bonnet(coffin) over the machine head. The machine heads did not fold away into the cabinet. But were top mounted. They were typically models 15, 27 and VS2. These hinges only flip back to allow for oiling and maintenance of the machine head. The heads did not fold down and tuck away. They have a good antique shine with some blemishes. They are in good working order. They come with the original mounting hardware. The body measures 11/16" diameter with a 1/4" threaded bottom. Description This is a large antique blanket chest with 2 drawers. It is all hand dovetailed. It came out of an estate in Pennsylvania. The chest has red paint however someone removed the paint from the lid. It has the original fish tail hinges. One hinge does have a crack at the bend but still works. The inside is clean. The original till is in very good condition however there is a black stain on one side of the bottom. The 2 lower drawers are in very good condition and have sandwich glass pulls. Which may be original. One pull has a large chip and the other one has a small chip. The drawers are hand dovetailed with chamfered bottoms. The feet have extra nails coming from the top, probably to secure them over the years. The chest has the smell of mothballs due to an old box found in one of the drawers. It will need airing out. These shutters were mounted inside the window casing inside the home and used to close off the light or cold. The very dark side is the side that faced the window. Someone has begun to refinish the shutter and you can see the beautiful Mahogany or Walnut wood in the stripped side. This would make a super door front for a cabinet. Old Wood Barn Farmhouse Cupboard Door Vintage Plus Part of Antique Hinges
This is a neat old barn door that could be reused on a cupboard or any project. It is 54" tall by 21 1/2" wide by 1" deep. The paint is flaking off and looks like it would be easy to strip the rest of it off. The hinges are 3 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide. This doesn't include the part sticking up- just the part attached to the wood. I only have that part- I do not have the part that was attached to the wall. It also looks like it could be cleaned up nicely to show off the design. The latch is missing the slider piece. Antique 2 Door Chinese Hardwood Jewelry Box with Brass Hinges & 4 Drawers
This is a Chinese antique. Hardwood jewelry box with 4 drawers and 2 doors; two inner and one outer. Each inner drawer has brass handles that lay flush with the front of drawer. Drawers slide very nicely and chest doors close well. I am not sure if there was an original latch on the doors. But the brass closures appears to have been made so that a lock could be used to secure the doors. Each drawer has a green satin liner. One drawer has ring dividers. The bottom drawer has a top compartment and a hidden compartment underneath. There is a brass handle on the top. This was constructed very well with dovetail joints. Four Antique STRAP HINGES, 3 with Bean Shaped Ends, 19" to 26" Long
This lot contains four iron strap hinges. Three of them featuring rounded bean ends. The longest one is the flat-ended one at the top, which is about 26½" long, 2" wide at its widest point(it tapers gently to 1¾" at the end) and over ¼" thick at the pintle end. It is heavily rusted, and looks like it might have never had a coat of paint(The other three have balck paint on them) And it still has one rusted old mounting bolt attached.
