Included with the hinges are all of the screws that were found with the hinges(see last photo) There are 24 in total. Which is the exact amount that you need to install the hinges The hinges have a great"hammered" texture. Which was popularized during the Arts& Crafts movement of the early 1900's. At the point of salvage 2 of the hinges were tough to open and all of the hinges were painted black. White, and red(see last photo) The black paint was applied by the manufacturer when they made the hinges, and the red and white were added by the former owners. During the cleaning process, we completely removed the white and red paint, and took off some of the black paint as well. You could always repaint them if you like, or keep them with their new, unique, silver/black finish. The hinges also open and close much easier now. The hinges have some tiny nicks and scratches. Which are typical for pieces this old, but they blend in very well with the hammered design. Otherwise, they are in great condition, strong and sturdy, and ready to serve for many years to come! This is a Set of Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Bent Wood Case Hinges. It includes two hinges with screws. These parts fit on the base of both large and small bent wood cases that hold Singer models 15-91. 66, 99, 128 and 201. These may not fit very old cases. Please check the main body measurements below. These came from a case that dated from the 1940's. The hinges are good working order. They have a nice shine. One hinge has some nicks on top. Lot 2 Antique Strap Hinges HUGE & LONG, Handmade, Very Old, 26"+
This is a wonderful lot of 2 antique strap hinges. They are handmade and are each a little different in the placement of the holes and the shape details. The longer one measures 26.75" long. And the shorter one measures 26.25" long. I took as many photos as possible. The first few are of one side. And the next set is of the other side. I took the photo of the whole things and then close-ups as I moved down the hinge lengths. They bend easily at the hinge. Not sticking at all. I took photos of both sides. There seem to be tiny cracks in the ends of the long part as well as cracks along the thin edges near the hinge.but I really don't know what I'm looking at. For auction a pair of antique coal scuttles or jardinières with lion head hinges. This is quite old and had dovetailing and some of the wonderful use you expect to see with and antique. I have polished it a little but left some of the great patina on one, the other is unpolished. Six inches high with the handle down, the length from the delft handle to the spout is nine inches. They do not match, but are similar to each other and I believe were made by the same person, in the same time period.They are not stamped, the style would indicate they originated in England. Cute Primitive Salt Box with green and white flowers tole painted on top. It has the word salt in the front of the box. The back has a stamp or label on it but I cannot make it out. It has the absolute greatest hinges I have ever seen on a salt box. The inside is clean and usable. The outside could go for a bit of polish but I am not going to so you do not have to worry about it being food safe. Old Antique Seventeen(17) Cast Iron Victorian Door Hinges; measure 3" X 3" have steeple top pins. Seem to be in very good condition for age; all of the pins will pull with fingers except one; did not oil it. There is some very light surface rust on some of them. Restored ones are over twice the price of starting bid. These will be easy to restore. Used. Sold as is. Most of the items we sell are vintage and come from estate sales. Therefore. They may have scratches, blemishes, chips, discoloration due to age, yellowing, odors from storage. We do not usually clean items. They measure 2" by 1 1/4" and are incised with that measurement on reverse by the original manufacturer. Condition is excellent. Design is sharp& crisp. No cracks or breakage. Perfect original mounting holes. No warping or bending of shape. Mechanism on each hinge works perfectly. No sticking. They have some wood varnish residue on them, but these are SOLID BRONZE, not plated, they will polish out beautifully should you desire a cleaner finish.
