For your consideration is an enchanting. Hand stitched, antique Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt. The harmonious color scheme and the lovely trapunto-like flower and leaf boarder are a tribute to the artist's skill. There are approximately 9-10 spi. This is an over sized quilt which is rare for its age, approximately 100” X 88” It is displayed in the gallery photo on a Queen size bed. The quilt came from my friend's parent's estate. We estimate the age to be late 1800's to early 1900's. There are several stains. Front and back, which I have tried to photograph for you. Some are very light and hard to see. Here is an old antique garden bug sprayer made by R. E. Chapin in USA. Established 1887 in Batavia. New York USA. It is a red cylinder with working plunger and clear glass jar. Measures 11" closed and 18" long pulled out, jar is 3.25" accost. Cylinder says maker and made in USA. On the bottom of the jar it says made in USA and 67' could be made in 1967 not sure. I have NOT unscrewed the jar to take it off, it seems to be stuck so I do not want to break it.

The artful detailing at the top of each piece includes intricate horse head carvings. The center panel measures 62" wide by 95" tall with removable doors. Antique Copper Wrought Iron Nautical Garden Dolphin Lamp Brackets Arts + Crafts
Fabulous pair of pretty large cast iron brackets designed as lantern brackets. They could also be used to support a window box. They feature the detailed profile of a seahorse. The bases(the verticals that attach to a wall) are a narrow shield-like shape with a hint of fleur de lys on the bottom. Very fanciful. I think this piece is copper. As a magnet does not adhere and there is a little bit of shine coming through the painted finish. The seahorses are cast iron. The top hanging bar could be hand wrought iron. A magnet adheres to both of these pieces. The hanging bar is quite linear with an end that holds a lantern. I think it's hollow, permitting electrical wire to be threaded through. The shape of the top piece and the copper base suggest to me the arts and crafts movement. The wiring is very old, so I wouldn't be surprised if ... morethese are from the 20's or30's. But I am just guessing. When we acquired these we were told that they were from the first New York World's Fair. I have done some research and have not found any images that confirm this. They were from an estate in Queens NY of two men. One of whom was a set designer for the earliest Today Shows and Capt. Kangaroo. The partner was a model ship builder. They had a fantastic eclectic collection of decorative collectibles. If indeed these were from the World's Fair, I wouldn't be surprised if these men made sure they got some"trinkets" when buildings were taken down. Nice and sturdy. The seahorses and the top piece have superficial rust. They dirty the hands when handled. The silvery finish which could be original is uneven. They definitely need refinishing. If the buyer wants to use these as part of a lantern. They need to be wired. Please see another pair of these that I am selling on ebay that has remnants of the electrical pieces. Very nice Model U. It has compression and spark. I believe this was sold under the Economy name when new. Red is the factory color for this engine. I noticed that the throttle is adjustable with a thumb wheel. but otherwise is fixed where ever you set the govenor. The model U was one of the early engines with a oil pump running off the cam. This is a very nice example. It will be shipped without oil. Service items completed Valves resurfaced to 45 degrees, seats recut and then lapped in. Clearances set, Fuel lines cleared with compressed air, Mixer jets cleared with compressed air. Tank is solid without leaks, but smells of old fuel. Engine is dry of fuel and oil for shipping.

Sturdy, wooden hose reel is 38" tall~~the wood frame is 13" wide~~out to out of the 4 1/2" in diameter wheels is 16 1/4" wide~~the bentwood frame lumber is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick. The steel wheels roll independent of one another. None of the weathered wood is broke, gouged, split or rotten. I would guess this is vintage 1920s, you be the judge. The wheels as well as the center reel move with ease. There are hints of the original red paint on the frame. All metal parts have some surface rust only. It is completely hand stitched and hand quilted, with nice small stitches, cotton prints from the 30s on the front, cotton poly blend back fabric is all white, medium batting. There are 6 blocks where the little squares are torn, and 2 spots, one near one corner, very minor, no through holes, very strong. It is 83" x 82" point to point. There are four tiny pinholes are edge of bottom, so this could not hold water. There are two seams on this bucket that run from top to bottom. Top edge is rolled/folded over. There is a round opening on one side near top(about 1/4" around) making me wonder if this was possibly use to hang on a tree and collect sap? Antique Garden Bucket Pail Carrier Tote Primitive Oak Wood Wrought Iron Hooks
ANTIQUE OAK WOOD AND WROUGHT IRON GARDEN BUCKET/PAIL CARRIER/TOTE WHY MAKE TWO TRIPS WHEN ONE WILL SUFFICE? Recently found in north central Pennsylvania. This primitive oak wood and wrought iron bucket or pail carrier is a unique find. It features a worn oak rod with two hand-forged wrought iron bucket hooks. The hooks have been placed just far enough so that they will accommodate two peck buckets without the buckets touching. It measures 27-3/8" long with 6" long hooks. As with most primitives. This old carrier shows wear, but remains in very good condition. The rod shows two holes so it can be attached to a wall if desired. A classic.
