9 1/8 x 6 1/2 cast brass hand forged hand tooled 3 lb. federal eagle door knocker. It is missing the strike peg which went in the square hole in eagle photo 6 mount a brass carriage bolt there and it is ready for use again. Looks great just hanging on the wall nice early piece of brass work.

Original, superb cast iron door knocker of the drop loop form in a serious Art Nouveau style, on a vertical rectangular shaped backplate, with the bolts, the nuts are missing. Made by Archibald Kenrick and stamped Kenrick No. 453 on the back. The number is both the model number and the registration number and indicates the year 1901. Antique condition with a wonderful patina, this striking door knocker measures 7.75" x 3.5" with a front to back depth of 1.5" The bolts are 2.25" long. I found this model listed at Hungerford Antiques in the United Kingdom asking 165 pounds which is $272 US dollars. That is the only one of the model that could be found. Here is a vintage cast iron door knocker of a hand around a ball or apple. Very interesting piece measures about 7 3/4" long when extended out. Ornate design with a ruffled/ bowed cuff and a ring on the middle finger. Hand is wrapped around what looks to be an apple. Works and pivots fine. There appears to be some markings on the inside of the hand. Only thing I can make out clearly is what looks like the number 10. Very ornate vintage cast iron/wrought iron black door knocker Has a large detailed round disc knocker in the center which measures 4.5" across. Underneath the round knocker is a ornate sea shell or clam shell. The back of the piece is unmarked other than a 2 is stamped on it. One hole on the top and two on the sides for installing. Overall this is 9" long. A very unusual piece.

Excellent Vintage Antique Solid Heavy Cast Brass Federal Eagle Door Knocker
This is an excellent heavy duty cast brass door knocker with rich. Dark aged patina. It was probably covered with a bright, shiny brass finish at once, but the finish is almost entirely worn away. It is complete with mounting hardware and works well. Nothing is broken, missing, or damaged beyond normal wear. It measures 7 1/2" W x 6" H and sticks about 1 1/2" out from the door. The mounting hardware will accommodate a door about 1 5/8" thick.

Super cool cast iron doorknocker! When you knock the knocker the boys face and the girls face meet together and kiss! The only problem with the knocker. Unfortunately, is that the loop where it attaches to the other piece has broken off(see pic#4) The girls side of the knocker has a screw that goes through the loop. I once had a piece of wire attached to it, and it worked, but not so good. Its a really old and unique piece and I am sure there can be something done to fix it.
