Antique pocket door pull hardware Art Deco style engraving keyhole LAST CALL
This beautifully made antique pocket door pull came from an estate where there was major tonnage of architectural relics. I did a mild soap and water cleaning of it. But made no effort to polish or scrub it for fear of removing patina. This item measures slightly under 4" long, 2" wide& 1/4" deep inside. It has detailed etching on it reminiscent of the Art Deco style of long ago. The main condition issue is that the upper left corner(photo#1) looks like it was pried off the door and does not lay flat. It's being sold"as is. Lot of 4 antique and vintage door plates. The two ornate cast iron plates are the same. One just has been painted. They are heavy, about 5 1/2" x 1 1/2. the other two are lighter metal, copper clad I believe. Large Antique Wooden Victorian Pocket Door with Hardware
Up I have this beautiful old pocket door from an old shore Victorian house. I had bought it recently at a moving sale. The woman had two. One was painted brown and this one was clearly on it's way to being refinished as it looks as if is was stripped. It measures 82"t x 32"w x 2" deep. I had to buy it on a whim not sure if it would work for the project I was thinking and it turned out to be too tall. So, I thought maybe someone has an old house they are restoring and would like an authentic door? It just requires some fine sanding and is almost ready to finish. The deatil is beautiful. The back plates have been cleaned but the latch assy has no and it is painted black and is steel. The back plates are about 7 inches high and 2 1/4 inches wide.
