Up for auction is an antique vintage Collapsible Wilcox Cup with leather travel holder. This antique travel cup is in very good condition for its age and history. The cup is circa 1880– 1890 based upon production type and personalized monogram on bottom of cup. The company maker monogram is a“ W“ for what we believe is Wilcox. The cup also has a personal inscription dedication on the bottom which reads; J. N. Rare Pre Columbian Ecuador Chone pottery, terracota, artifact, relic mask
This is an authentic wonderful rugged looking mask from the Chone culture of Ecuador. It has a COA from Renman Gallery to come with piece. It has been part of a larger clay work or sculpture and you can see where it has broken away in places. The face was repaired and the line gives the appearance of a scar. It may be a warrior a god figure. The mouth seems to have fangs. The man had ear spools but one is missing. Despite all it remains a dramatic mask with emotion and a wonderful collector piece especially for the unusual item not often seen. Don't wear this on Halloween or at a teen horror movie. Auction description Tiny and mysteriously powerful is this little sculpted bust. Pre-Columbian, described as from the Tumaco culture of Colombia, somewhere between 1,500 and 1,000 years old. It's the image of a male head, done I believe in terra cotta, and the expressivity is astounding. The provenance is an auction at the Hotel Drouot, Paris(May 11, 2006) and I guarantee its authenticity as a pre-Columbian artifact. I'm not sure of its original function, sacred or secular.is there a pre-Columbian specialist in the ebay community who wants to tell us more? Pre-Colombian(Chimu) Authenticated and appraised cat and owl pieces
These pieces were originally given to my great uncle in the 60's by the excavation team that dug it up for his help with the dig. They have been in storage for most of their lives with my family and I think they would be much better off on display in someones house. Pre Columbian animal clay figures - Mexico
Pre Columbian Clay figures. During the 1960's while living in Mexico I found these arrowheads. The location was at the base of a small extinct volcano close to. Cuatla. Morelos, Mexico. It is my understanding that the area was populated in Pre Aztec times by the Xochimilco tribe. The figures appear to be of a dog. A bird and a turtle? They are about 2" 5 cm) long on average. They were parts of a larger clay item which. I believe was a bowl with the figures being the handles.

I inherited this pot from my grandmother who traveled to South America in the 1940's. I think she went with the National Geographic Society. I have 16mm films of her travels including a head-shrinking ceremony. It has a tiny hairline crack in the rim which can hardly be seen without a magnifying glass. It won't show-up in a photo. There is also what might be a small repair on the under side of the rim the size of a dime or it might just be part of the original design. Not sure. If I can get it to show-up in a photo. Beatuiful example of a vintage folk art specific to the Kuna Natives of the San Blas Islands off the Atlantic roast of Central Panama. This Mola. Is an example of the creative back stitching decoration of cloth pieces specific to these Natives for many years. The Kunas live on a collection of over 350 small Islands a boat ride off the Atlantic coast of Panama. This has now become a world wide collectible art work that has gone on unchanged. All types of items, cloth, clothing etc. are created. Often they are framed in a double frame with a cloth or beige gunny sack like fabric as a matting between the outer frame and inner frame. This piece was made around 1960 and I bought a number of others when I lived in Panama. The colors have remained brilliant. This late 1800s to 1900s Apache beaded tobacco pouch. Even with obvious signs of usage, is simply beautiful. As you can see in the pictures, the continual coil of trade beads sewn to deer leather is still colorful and beautiful. The smoke tanned leather pouch is very soft and still has what could be tobacco in it. The size is 6.25"Lx4.25"W. This would be a excellent addition to anyone's collection. You are buying this as is. Listing today do to a non-payment from a buyer the sculpture works of the legendary John Rogers. This Group is entitled" The School Examination" Patented July 9. 1867. Standing 20 inches in height, maintaining it's original paint however on the front side of Group much has flaked off. The main point of this Group needing restoration is the tablet which the girl is holding. The base is solid as well as other portions of this Group without excessive chipping. Listing today a rare Group by John Rogers entitled" The Photographer" and"Sitter" The Photographer is 17 inches in height Signed John Rogers/ New York 1878. Condition: NO repaint here all original paint. Alittle flaking, structural damage as follows 1. chip to left forearm/elbow of toy being held by Photographer, left hand is present though. 2. small chip to frame of camara underneath. The Sitter signed John Rogers/New York 1878 both Groups Patented October 15, 1878. The Sitter is 18 1/2 inches in height. Condition: NO repaint, original paint; Flaking 30% Structural damage as follows: small chips to base, rear of womans dress paint peeled as well as abit of the dress seam near buttocks shows a chip, about a dozen little holes present in statue from pitting. The US pharmaceutical term for Whiskey.Oi(pint)S as directed! This prescription was the fourth issue. It's the largest of all five and quite ornate. Please see photos! From the days of Al Capone. Flappers and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US! This prescription has poppies on the top corners. Fleur-de-lys on the bottom, and spider-webbed borders! The whiskey was prescribed for John Ayrer. On October 11, 1927 and was filled the same day by Pharmacist, Joseph Touhey, of Touhey's Pharmacy in Fall River, MA. It was issued by the Treasury Department and is printed on fancy. Beautiful paper, that was also used ... morefor U.S. currency. In the center is the old Treasury Seal with the Latin inscription, Thesaur. Amer. Septent. Sigil. When you hold this prescription up to the light, PROHIBITION is watermarked. As with the metal strips that are used in U.S. bills today, the graphics are GREAT! The prescription measures 6 1/2" x 5 3/4" Has two folds and a corner bend, otherwise, condition is excellent.a beautiful Prohibition prescription! Pre Columbian Colima Ball Player Statue Authentic
This is what we believe to be an authentic Pre Columbian Colima Ball Player Statue. It has been part of a family collection since the early 1970's. It is very large measuring 14 inches tall. The bat measuring 9 3/8 inches long, the waist measuring 4.5 inches wide. It was cracked and has been professionally repaired but looks great for its age.
