Estate Sale find! Vintage Viking Smykker Pendant& Chain. Paperwork says this is a replica of a"Gold Ornament from Early Roman Iron Age. About 200-400 A.D. Found in the richly adorned grave of a woman at Arslev near Odense. The grave ornaments were characteristic of Hungarian-Gothic style. The original is at the National Museum, Copenhagen. Pendant measures 1 3/8" across and 1 11/16" in length including the bale. Chain is 19" in length. Chain is marked with 925 and Pendant is marked but I can't quite make out the writing.
