Awesome Sterling Silver White Onyx Norse-Viking-Celtic Cuff Bracelet Item#2014031 The Viking's World Presents Awesome Heavy Sterling Silver White Onyx Norse-Viking-Celtic Cuff Bracelet Offered here is an awesome heavy vintage Sterling Silver White Onyx Norse-Viking-Celtic Cuff Bracelet for men or women. This bracelet measures roughly 1 1/8 inches wide at the center. And 6 1/6 inches inside circumference, not counting the 1 1/4 inch wide gap. Like most cuff bracelets, this could easily be bent inward or outward to accommodate a wide variety of wrist sizes. This heavy bracelet weighs a hefty 76 grams(2.71 ounces! At the center, is a gorgeous white Onyx stone measuring roughly 1 x 5/8 inches. There is a slight separation in one small edge spot(shown below in the 8th photo) between the inner and outer silver layers, where the Celtic knot ... moreportion was welded to the solid backing. Someone being careless when he or she bent the bracelet to fit him or her, did that. It is not really structurally a problem, and as long as you are careful when you bend it to fit your wrist, it should never separate further. Still, I mention it in the spirit of honesty, and if it bothers you, it could easily be repaired, even though that is probably not necessary. There is also a slight roughness in the white onyx, in one tiny spot near the top center. It doesn't show up in the photos or in person well, but you can feel it when you run your thumbnail across the stone. I would guess that someone probably smacked the stone on something, or it simply didn't get fully polished in that one spot when it was made. Either way, I don't see it as a problem, but am just trying to be fully honest about condition. In short, this is a vintage piece, and shows minor wear, and is not new. In person, this is a very impressive bracelet, and that white onyx really stands out well in contrast to the silver behind it. Definitely fit for a king or queen! It is offered here with no reserve. Gorgeous Scandinavian Sterling Silver 10" Model Viking Longboat Ship Circa 1925
At times like this I wish I were a better photographer. Because my photos don't even scratch the surface of how beautiful this ship is. I have tried to capture as much detail as possible from the little dragon heads and scrolls adorning the edges to the dotted and"clovered" shields, to the ribbed hull to the tiny flame emerging from the dragon's mouth. You can even see the"nails" in the hull. I have consulted an expert about this piece, and he has told me it is undoubtedly Danish or Norwegian in origin and is made around 1925. He didn't recognize the hallmark. But I hope you will! The condition is great, with the exception of a few fine scratches on the interior of the ship. These would be easily buffed out if you chose to. I have manipulated the contrast in some of the pictures to get some greater detail, ... morebut rest assured, this is a very fine piece with great detail and craftsmanship. It has no dents. It stands approximately 5 1/5" high, just over 10" long, and 3 3/4" across the opening at the widest point. It stands on two attached scroll feet, one which bears the pictured hallmark. Vintage Norwegian Sterling Silver Viking Ship Salt Cellar by Theodor Olsen Eftf
A vintage Norwegian sterling silver Viking ship salt cellar& spoon. This beautifully crafted item was made by the renowned Norwegian silversmith Theodor Olsen Eftf who worked out of the city of Bergen in Norway. This salt cellar is difficult to date but judging by similar items it dates to around the 1950s-60s. The inside of Viking ship has been gilted to give a nice golden finish to it and comes with a glass liner. It has the crown mark of Theodor Olsen stamped on the inside of the ship along with the words 925 s.silver Norway. Beautifully made with two ornate heads at either end of the ship and five shields on both sides. The salt spoon is not by the same maker but is still Norwegian silver which is very decorative with an Art Nouveau design and is fully hallmarked as seen in my last photo. The brooch is in the form of a Viking ship at sea. It measures 55mm high x 47mm across and it weighs 8.1 grams. It is marked on the back of the brooch: A.
