This piece was made by New Martinsville/Viking in the Janice shape. As a note. The silver overlay was most likely applied at Silver City Glass. It measures about 7" long and about 6-1/2" across the handles. Condition is excellent- no chips or cracks- all bright and shiny- no damage to the overlay- just one real small miss in the overlay on the rim but not major. Horns are marked Sterling NORWAY and has the Theodor Olsens Eftf, mark. The Viking Ship is 3 1/4" in length The Horn is 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" The spoons(not matching but included in grouping) are about 2 1/4" long and 3" long. Part of his'Saga Series' this, along with other pieces, are recreations of ancient Viking pieces from around 800 AD. The pendant is on a sterling 21" serpentine rope chain(not original to the piece) measures 1-5/8" at its widest, weighs 10.8g and is marked' D-A Norway Sterling 925S Reprod Origin from Viking Period' as well as'David Andersen Norway' on the cord clasp.
