This is an antique original cast iron 6 piece desk set. This set has a bronze color painted finish giving the set a wonderful old patina. The scarab decorates each piece and is surrounded by wings and an attractive floral design arrangement. The inkwell measures about 7 x 3 and 1/2 inches. The blotter is about 5 x 3 inches. The stamp box is about 4 and 1/2 inches. The letter box is about 5 and 1/4 x 2 by 4 inches tall. the corner pieces measure about 3 inches on either side of the corner. The letter opener knife is about 9 inches long. One little paint spot is missing from the handle of the blotter. In general this handsome. Egyptian influenced, desk set is in excellent condition considering the age of the set. This has been in our collection for about thirty years. See photos.

Based on the original solid gold artifact found in the excavation of the Egyptian monarch's tomb in 1924. This example is a faithful homage to the original death mask of King Tut, including the Cobra and Vulture at the center of the headdress. The mask rests on the white streaked marble base attached by a pole placed at the bottom inside of the desk mask. This one is particularly rare because it has the original old double arm bands for carrying the sword. They are one of the few cultures who wore their swords around their arms as they traveled. This is a very large sword for a Tuareg broadsword. Probably carried by someone in the clan of higher rank. Measures 34 1/2 inches in scabbard with a blade measuring 29.5 inches. The Tuareg were the Warriors of the Sahara. From Egypt to the borders of The Sahara Desert, they were sometime referred to as the protectors of the Sahara. The history of the Tuareg often places them as the Mad Mahdi Tribe, or at other times as the fighting faction or warriors of the Dankali who primarily occupied the s. west area near the Red Sea. However, they have been known to protect the cultures from the Western parts of Africa to the Area of Egypt. History shows that they were truely the best of the best when it came to fighting a battle. In a sense it is somewhat of a mystery. There is a tag on the back that is A.Morjikian and the full label is pictured. This is a rather large rug it measures 4’2 ½” wide by 7’ 11 ½’ long. It is in good vintage condition with some ware some discolor to the back. Just a really cool one of a kind. The registry mark shows that the pattern was registered October 26. 1872 and that the batch# is 5. They feature a sphinx head(or a representation of the god Amun) at the top. There are lotus leaves representing the flower from which Amun was created. The wings represent the goddess of fertility Isis. Finally. Antique EAPG Adams Egyptian figural Goblets set of 6 clear glass
This listing if for an antique set of 6 EAPG goblets in the Egyptian pattern that features 3 figural panels(see photos of examples) motifs such as pyramids. Classical structures, palm trees, a camel, sphinx, and beading. They are attributed to the Adams and Company of Pittsburg. PA that was operational from 1851 to 1891. These goblets measure approximately 6” tall and 3 ¼” across the top and base and the sizes are slightly different from glass to glass. This pattern is almost identical and of the same time period(1870’s-1880’s) as the goblets made by Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. that operated from 1825-1889. They would mix easily as the only difference is the Adams stem is less curved. These goblets are original and in excellent condition with no. Cracks, chips or repairs but please note that the top rims show as slight line of the ... more3-part mold and the bottom rim edges are slightly rough in places. One goblet is slightly thicker than the other 5 and one has a“divot” ½” below the inside rim. I believe these differences are a part of the manufacturing process and not defects- just part of being EAPG. There are fine bubbles and some scuffs but the glass is clear and bright with no clouding. They have aged gracefully and will make a wonderful addition to a table setting or display. This is a rare opportunity to add to your collection or begin one as it is not often this many pieces are available and in such fine condition. Up for sale are two souvenir spo ons. 1) Greek markings are Delohes/ Delphi. Also 800 for silver and Silver is also stamped on it. Measures 4 7/8" long. The bowl is 1 1/2" x 1" at it's widest. This is in very good condition. No cracks or repairs. 2) Egyptian or some European culture. Markings on the stem area there are some hallmarks the center one is a bell. The other two on either side I cannot make out. On the bowl there is another marking maybe Egyptian or Hebrew. The bowl has a hammered finish on the outside edge. Up for your consideration is this Very Rare Antique Austrian/Bohemian WS&S Egyptian Revival Vase. By Wilhelm Schiller& sons. Made in Bodenbach Bohemia Austria which is now Podmolky Czech Republic. It dates from the 19th century. It is in overall good condition with a single chip to the base and some loss of color. It is marked with the impressed ws&s logo and the mold number 608 or 809 depending on which way you read it. WS&S were prolific makers of majolica wares and other ceramics.The production stopped with the outbreak of world war one. The vase stands 11 1/4 inches high at its widest point 7 inches from handle to handle. The diameter of the base is 4 1/4 inches.I love the Pharos mask and the serpents heads handles.The body of the vase also has hyroglyphics and symetrical decoration. Lovely Early American Pattern Glass(EAPG) pattern spooner. Circa 1870s, 80s or'90s, in the celebrated"EGYPTIAN" pattern. The mold engraver did a fantastic job on this piece.the detail is crisply done, and the design is bold and sharp. NOTE: The glass color is virtually perfectly clear in person; there is no pink tint as some of the pics make it appear! I understand that this pattern was produced by more than one glass company. However, they do have that pitted look, which only comes with considerable age and they may well be Roman/Egyption or early trade beads.
