Sling bullet is made of lead and dates to about 400 BC-100 BC(over 2000 years old) This sling bullet has the classic, double-pointed, or so called“almond shaped” design and has a wonderful patina with heavy lead oxidation and mineral/earth deposits. It is in good as found condition and measures about 1.64" in length. It was likely a metal-detector surface find in Greece. It appears to have an ancient Greek inscription that was cast into it when it was made in a mold. These early projectiles were made in great quantities to hurl at one’s enemies. You will.
