I purchased this from Richard Wright 5 years ago. Excellent condition with some minor scuffs and hairline cracks in veneer as to be expected and wood has been well cared for. You are getting a great patina and deep orange hues of its color and burl. Unlike some newer examples that look more pale flesh tone. Like a vintage Rolls Royce dashboard! All veneer intact and none missing or peeling off which would be tragic. One of the better versions of this design I have seen. Difficult to capture in photographs, like nature, better in person. I purchased this beauty a while back at a Miami Beach. Fl. estate. Sleek vintage design, top removable tray, and two removable shelves. Original 4 black casters, rolls nicely. Structurally sound and sturdy, quite heavy. Appropriate signs of age with scuffs and surface scratches and some scattered corrosion to chrome but overall nice. A great piece, with years of great life ahead, I would never sell you something I would not use myself. Drexel Nesting Tables Mid Century Modern Excellent Condition!
This is a pair of mid century modern Drexel nesting tables. I believe they're made of pecan wood. They are in excellent condition. They are from the Fontanella collection. They slide together perfectly and are in excellent condition. The larger of the two is 21 inches tall and the tabletop is 16" x 26" The smaller table is 20 inches tall and the tabletop is 14" x 21.5" If you have any questions feel free to message me. In one of the pictures you can see there are a few small cracks under the larger table where the smaller table nests inside. When she passed on everyone in the family passed on this piece. THere were many pieces she had from the 50's. And this was one of them. I loved it and have had it in my home for 12 years. It is tight and sturdy with little cosmetic wear- mainly a scratch on the left drawer that covered nicely with Old English(facing the table) and a couple of light rubs along one edge(see pics) The table has five spoon feed(three on the front and two on the back) and two clean drawers on the front. The back is plain cherry wood. The table is about five feet long. About 28 inches high, and about 16 1/2 inches deep. I bought the table new in the mid or late 1990's. Offered from a local estate is a gorgeous set of vintage nesting tables These solid walnut or mahogany tables have cabriole legs and slide onto runners to stack away. There are inset(removable) glass tops to protect the hand painted tops. Each top is different both in scene and in background color: The largest table is 21" by 14" and 22" high the center has a pale yellow background and the design is a basket of roses with flowers and leaves vining all around. Cross hatch corners. The middle table is 17" by 13 1/2" and 21" high and the center has a pale green background with a circle medallion of flowers with cones of flowers on either side and wreath of leaves. Ribbons, flowers surrounding, cross hatch corners. The smallest table is 13" by 12" and 20" high with a beige background with a spray of ... moreflowers in center and leaves radiating from the corners. There is some rubbing wear on the fronts. VNTG HAND PAINTED TIERED TOLE FOLDING TRAY TABLE ROSE BOUQUETS
Beautiful table! Features folding wood base with original. Clear plastic and iron casters by Noelting(Fautless) The table is 2 tiered with each tier/shelf comprised of a large, round metal/tole tray. The trays have been hand painted and feature large rose bouquets. The trays are not marked. They sit freely on the base and rest on wooden dowels. This is a lovely, vintage(1940s) tray table. It is in very good condition with some very minor evidence of age. There is minor aging to the painted finish of the tole trays as well as to the black painted wooden base. The wear is minor and is not distracting or severe. The table measures 26.25" tall. And 22" in diameter. Each tray is 19.5" in diameter. Shipping via UPS with insurance provided for you.
