This window does have several layers of paint. One side is in almost perfect condition painted with an off white cream color with no loose glaze or peeling paint. The other outside of the window is white with some loose glaze and peeling as to be expected. 1 Antique Hanging Window This antique window dates from around the late 1800's to early 1900's. The wood frame is appears to be cypress. The antique beveled glass is leaded which casts rainbow colors. The metal channel holding the glass in place is a type of zinc. This was a more expensive process than lead. The window measures 18 3/8" X 14 1/4" The window is 19 1/4" high with the eye hooks. The window has been stripped of a heavy coat of paint. It was then cleaned and finished with beeswax to keep the patina. This window is in very good to excellent condition for its age. This listing is for ONE WINDOW. Every piece of glass is beveled.the whole window! even the small little half diamond shaped pieces at the very top. There are no breaks at all.The wood frame is solid and sturdy. As my father would say“don’t be penny wise and pound foolish. FREE SHIPPING! 1 LARGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SOLID CAST BRASS WINDOW CABINET LATCH LOCKS#0 Hi folks. The BIN price is for one(1) of the pictured latches and one(1) keeper. This style and size and the fact that they are solid cast brass/bronze make these some of the hardest to find latches. These are primarily used on casement windows but they work well and look great on cabinets or other places you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The keepers are not the original to the latches. The keepers were modified so the latch could be surface mounted ... moreand the keeper would be semi mortised in the jam. The latches are cast bronze– brass and the keepers are steel. The working condition is very good with the latches having age darkening and loss of finish from usage. All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag so you’re getting them in as found condition. But solid brass/bronze will polish up superbly using a buffing wheel with a dab of brass polish on a power drill. The approximate measurements of the latch is 6 ¼” long x 1 1/8” and the center to center of the screw holes is 1 3/8’ x ½” And the keeper is 1 5/8” wide x 1 5/8” and the center to center on the screw holes are 1” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope.
