This piece contains two very detailed and gorgeous maps. Strongly executed in the Art Deco style which flourished in the 1930's. It is very colorful as you can see. Featuring a salmon color to represent the geography of Southern California and the Los Angeles region. Turquoise for the Pacific. Orange, tan, and shades of black. The smaller map which depicts the Olympic Village amd a small panorama/bird's eye view of downtown LA and the Colusium also contains dark green and shades of blue. This map is a double sided brochure. Intentionally folded originally into 12 equal size panels of 4 1/2" x 9 1/4" The main map contains illustrations and pictorial vignettes of famous and historical ... moresites of Los Angeles and the surrounding area. The map is an regional illustration of the LA Region set on a grid of the major thoroughfares as a panarama. Or aerial view of the area as if in a plane flying east-northeast from the Pacific.
