Vintage 1950 Raised Relief Wall Map22 X26 California and Nevada John H. Andrews. This map appears to be made out of some kind of plastic or similar material. The upper right corner has a crack along the edge. There is some pinholes in the raised areas upper right area but you can't see them unless you hold the map up to a light source. There is some type of dried adhesive on the back. This map may have been glued to a flat surface of some type. The lower left corner has been chipped off as shown. Colors still nice. Not faded. RARE 17 Vintage California Map LOT of OWENS VALLEY 22"x18" Fantastic Quads
Title: US DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR. US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY, OWENS VALLEY QUADRANGLES. This is a set of 17 large. Vintage, quality maps dated from 1949 to 1962, with the majority of them from the 1950s. They are the quad maps for the Owens Valley section of California and the areas listed below that comprise the area. These are exceptional maps that are in clean and quality condition! These were previously owned by a retired California-stationed Park Ranger. Each one if these is a very sizable. Large map that measures 22x18 and there are several that measure 21 x 17. All are clean and in excellent condition and are great for framing. They have been stored flat and will be sent to the buyer in this way. The value is here with these beautiful maps.
