Excellent Condition for its age I came across this collection at an estate sale some years ago. Each map is an original from the producer and not a reproduction. There is only one of each for sale. The maps are carefully and professionally mounted on what appears to be cotton or linen cloth. I will. As always, pack these carefully. They will be sent flat and will require a signature for pick up to protect your investment. Many are original National Geographic maps. They seem to range from the early to late 1920’s– 40’s. They are beautiful if I do say so and that is why I grabbed them originally. My kids are grown now and we no longer use them for educational purposes. So. Off they go. Will it be to you? Please carefully review the pictures and judge for yourself. As in all old maps there will be flaws. Carefully look over fold placement where they exist. Vintage 1940 National Geographic Map of The Southwestern United States w/Descriptive Notes The map is in excellent condition. It measures approximately 34 x 26 inches in size. This is a beautifully laid out map full of historical facts. It would be a perfect map to frame and enjoy. Please be aware that these National Geographic Maps are anywhere from 10 to 90 years old. They are printed on paper that is not acid free and in most cases have not been stored in the best way. So the maps you are buying may be in a condition that reflects both of these facts. The map you get may be worn or lightly torn along the fold lines due to the acidity of the paper and being folded for years. They may also be discolored or mottling spots again due to the acidity of the paper. The borders of the maps may also have small tears. On occasion maps may smell musty ... morefrom the way they have been stored in the past. When the map is kept in an open area the musty smell will fade away in time. Any damage that is above and beyond the norm will be disclosed. Payment through Paypal only. Payment is required within four days. I do combine multiple purchases for shipping.
