This is a lot of 4 original maps dating from 1953 and 1954 of the Marin County California coastline. North of San Francisco. These are Geological Survey maps by the US Dept of Interior and they include Bolinas. Drakes Bay, Tomales Bay, and a part of Pt Reyes called Double Point. I've lived in Marin most of my life and never heard of Double Point! These maps are mostly in very good condition. One has a tear deep into the border but it doesn't reach the map. There may be other tiny tears and wrinkles. Two have creases where they were folded along the borders. They vary in size though all are close. The 1953 is larger than the 1954s. The range is 22" to 24" on the short side and 26 1/2" to 27" on the long sides. They have spent the last 50 years rolled up in a tube so that is how I'll send them. My photos reflect ... morethe curl. As you can see I used yard sticks to hold down the edges. LOW SHIPPING: These are light enough to send First Class in a tube for only $3.50 within the USA. When fully open it measures 32x44 inches. When closed it measures 9x4.5 inches. It is in good condition. Winning bidder is to include $ 4 for shipping in the continental United States.
