These are not solid brass, they are some sort of cast brass because they are magnetic. You will receive 6 screws with eash set as well. Most of the screws are like the ones pictured, I do have some that are phillips head. By chance you dont need or want the screws please let me know. They all have 2131 casted into the bottom of the latch. Please view pictures closely. Vintage Set of 6 Brass Casement Fastners: New Old Stock
These solid brass casement fastners are not all that common. Especially those from new old stock. They are a great throwback to the early 20th century, as well as to quite a few"film noir" scenes. They also may be useful with some"modern" designs that are influenced by earlier fixures. As can be seen from the picture, the set includes all of the original screws. The"loop" piece screw plate(4 screws) is approx. 1 3/4" in length x 1" in width. The locking plate is approx. 2 1/4" in length x 3/4" in width. The loop piece itself can rotate on its base to allow placement of the screws.

Have the numbers"22 19" stamped into the back of each. Most assuredly a matched set. Measures 1 3/16 by 1 3/8 face, recessed pull is approx 2 1/2 by 7/8, and 1/2 inch deep. Uncleaned, note, any dark parts on the surface come off easily with a fingernail, I tried a few of them. I did use a toothbrush and tap water, nothing else, the patina is yours to do what you like. Vintage Window Transom Slides / Locks Brass
These slides were used to close or hold open windows. That were over doors in old buildings like schools, offices, banks. Windows would open by slide and locked in place by lock on bar. Made of brass, the bar is solid brass not hollow. Bar is 12 1/2" long, the brackets are 2 1/8" long and 3/4" wide, lock extends upward about 1 1/2" In good condition. Handles work freely and have a patent date 1887. The iron sash lock has a patent date Dec. 12. 82. The iron cabinet door lock is nicely embossed and has a porcelain knob and has a patent date also, Feb. 7, 1871. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE AREN'T ANY CATCHES WITH THESE FOUR LOCKS. 3 Vintage Brass Plated Cast Iron - Steel Transom Window Pull Latches / Catches
My father had a hardware store from 1946 to 1983. When he closed it. He brought the merchandise to his house where it has been since. He recently passed away and it is now my task to sell this merchandise. For sale is 3 Brass plated cast iron-steel transom window pull catches. They are unused and appear very old. I have pictures of each one. The first one is in pretty good condition. 2 of them has poor finish especially on the pull. 3 also has poor finish and some rust on the pull. All handles return OK when pulled. Notice the casting on the tips of the pull. The catch measures 1-1/4" wide x 2-1/4" long x 1/2" high and 2-1/2" long from tip to end of hook and 1-1/4" high overall. The hook is about 5/16" thick.
