Mailbox is from the early to mid 1900's. Black in color, and measures 10 1/4" high X 5 1/2" wide X 2 1/4" deep. It is made from a thin& magnetic metal(tin or steel) made in USA. It opens in 2 spots-the very top flap and the middle flap that says MAIL. This mailbox has chippy paint and some RUST! Up for sale is one of these vintage cast iron/metal steampunk farm plow spiked gear wheels. These gear wheels are great for yard or garden decor. Wall displays and even repurposed in making furniture or steampunk creations. Each wheel is missing one spike and has very similar wear from age as the ones pictured. The wheels vary from 17 1/4" to 17 3/4" in diameter depending on the wear to the ends. The center hole has a diameter of 1 1/8" and the wheel is 3 7/8" wide. Antique Vintage Architectural Outdoor Garden Whirligig Metal Art Airplane 1
Here is a pretty unique old metal art lawn ornament whirligig. This looks quite old and I believe it may have been hand made. Two airplanes balance on each end of an iron rod and the iron rod spins quite freely. The total width of this piece with both airplanes is about 33" This piece rests on an iron pole that goes into the ground- the total height of this pole is about 39" and about 7" of that would go into the ground. The planes are just great pieces of metal art work from the double wing design to the spinning propeller. This whirligig has a red/green plane and a green/yellow plane.
