Lights etc.These pieces are beautiful with ornate style and would add lots of character to any room or garden We are not sure of the exact type of metal. But magnet sticks to both of them. They are in good condition but do have a few flaws. The mounting brackets that attach to wall are missing for both of the holders. You can use your own brackets if want. ANTIQUE NEOCLASSICAL ENGLISH IRON GARDEN URN This beautiful neoclassical shape urn is a genuine antique. Circa early 1800s but could be late 1700s. Many layers of paint were stripped and the urn was polished with a wire brush. It’s thick and heavy cast iron with fine details and it is still in perfect condition. No chips, no cracks. However, from over 200 years of use since the metal inside was pretty much rusted it shows deep cavities, which will not be noticeable ... morewhen the urn is filled with dirt. It is a planting urn because it has a drain, therefore your plants will not drown and can feel comfortable in this urn for many years. This urn comes apart into two parts. Antique cast iron garden urn base. ONLY. It had been painted black, but has rusting and pitting, due to age and use outdoors. It has a center panel on 4 sides, with design. The top has 6 little doo-dads sticking up, I think to keep an urn in place, and it has the# 2. The bottom base has a small chip approx. 3/4" long, on one side, and a corner chip, approx. 1 3/4" long. The base is approx. 15 5/8" tall, 9 5/8" square on the top, and 11" square at the bottom.

Antique Cast Iron Hayes Pump & Planter Co Galva IL Farm Water Well Pump Hit Miss
Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this antique cast iron. Hayes Pump& Planter Co. Well Pump. This old pump is in good condition and was found at an old farm estate in Central Iowa where the pump had been sitting unused on an old well for many years. As you can see in the pictures, the pump is marked with raised, embossed lettering that reads, MF’D BY HAYES PUMP& PLANTER CO. on both sides of the body ~“GALVA, ILL. U.S.A. on both sides of the spout and“HAYES GALVA, ILL. on the base as well as having embossed part numbers on the various pieces of the pump. The handle raises, lowers and works just as it should and the pump could easily be reconditioned to pump water. It appears to have been repainted silver a long time ago with the paint worn thin or entirely away in some places. The pump is just as I found it with an old repair ... moreon the neck and a place on one side of the base that does not extend as high up as the other side. Both of these points are easily overlooked and did not prevent the pump for being used. As you can see in the pictures. The old water pipe extends below the base roughly six inches- Most of the time this would be cut off. However if you’re looking for a pump to use as décor. Just push that section of pipe in the ground or use it as an anchor if you cement in into place. Either way. It won’t go anywhere and no additional work will be needed. If you want to cut the pipe off. It can easily be done. Overall height from the base to the top of pump. Excluding the water pipe that goes below the base, is roughly 42 inches. Just a nice old. Hard to find pump for the collection or for use. Please refer to the pictures and feel free to email with any questions. Old Cast Iron Cooking Kettle Garden Planter Flower Pot
10&1/2" top diametr and 4" tall- condition as pictured-rusty looking bottom but solid-no cracks-see my others-email any questions- check out my ebay store. I sell everything as found. Presented is this Rare POSITIVE Antique Seeder/ Planter in wonderful. Well-preserved, operating condition. Implement from an estate sale. Displays like a 19thC Patent Model. Seeder constructed with wood shaft and handle with cast iron hardware and wheels. The Seeder operates by: first tilling the soil with its triangular rake; then seeds are inserted into the channel fastened along the wood handle's shaft; and lastly as seeds exit channel below they are pressed into the soil with its hammer remotely controlled from the wood lever stationed near top of the handle. Large Antique Cast Iron Cherub Statue Planter Urn Sculpture Lawn & Garden
Here is a beautiful old large solid cast iron cherub garden statue. The statue is quite large and measures about 34" high. The base is 12- 13" in diameter, and this is a very heavy solid piece. My guess would be 70 lbs or more, but I have not weighed it. It is a lovely piece, a nude cherub child, draped with cloth, and holding a large urn/ planter. It has some areas of rust, but in general, is in great condition. It looks like there may have been repair on his one hand that is holding the urn, but it is difficult to tell as his knuckles may be bent- I have shown a picture of this area. This is a beatiful lawn or garden or lakefront piece, and would look stunning with a beautiful flower pot placed in the urn. I am listing this item as local pickup only- although we would be willing to drive 50- 100 miles to arrange a pick up. Inside dimensions are 33 1/2" long x 5 1/2" deep x 12 1/2" wide across bottom and 16" wide across top. Old rusty cast iron has been painted black at some point- paint is worn and rust is showing through. Wooden legs are not in good condition and I can remove them if you want- I held on to them so they could be used as a pattern to make replacements. Condition is nice and solid but the paint on the arm is a bit patchy in places and could do with a clean up. And Cast iron frame with furrow opener. Interior is tin or light steel and is a two-part drum with diamond shaped openings. Sliding the two sides together increases or decreases the size of opening to determine seeding rate. It has a two bolt clamp to go on a wooden handle. I did not find the handle. it must have been repurposed by the original owner. There is a small bent rod at bottom that would drag as the furrow closer. Wood wheel is held on shaft by a single cotter's pin. Removal of this pin and the wooden wheel would allow the tin drum to be filled with seed. ATQ Cast Iron Planter/Urn Garden Flower Pot from 1850 Carriage House
A beautiful antique flower planter/urn/pot. It was used at an 1850's carriage house that was unfortunately being torn down for a parking lot. We salvaged what we could so it wouldn't end up in a landfill and lost forever. I don't know it's actual age but that is where it came from. It would make a wonderful addition to your yard or even used indoors. Made from cast iron that looks like it was put together by hand. You can see where the seams were welded etc. but it does not detract. It adds to it's beauty. This beautiful planter measures approx. 14 inches tall by 11 1/2 across at the top. Condition seems appropriate for it's age. Please look closely at the pictures as they give you the best description. I can't possibly know what one person will think is a flaw and another an enhancement. There is some surface ... morerust. I did only very light cleaning as many like items left as is. If you look at the third picture. You will see a thin crack on the rim. It it not really easily seen with the naked eye. Even with the thin crack it is a gorgeous old planter. You can see in the pictures that it kind of changes tone colors depending on how the light is hitting it. For those who may think only a"Top Rated" Vendor can be trusted to be a good seller. I lost my status because I didn't list/sale enough in a certain amount of time. Frankly I don't think it goes hand in hand but I will have it back when I sell more items in a certain amount of time. They actually told me I got it back but I don't see it so who knows what they are doing. 1880_1920 J L Mott planters. Height is 35" and bowl is 21" across. Has an old small chip on edge. Barely noticeable. I'm sure something could be fabricated and attached or just leave it the way it is to add character and to show it's true age. No repo here. Very rare. Specialty piece. Same lock and drain as used in his Campana Urns. Original finish was the gold gilded. Was ordered this way only by the very wealthy. The norm was bronze finish. These planters only have three coats. The gold gilded. An off white and the dark green. Would be even more beautiful if the outer two coats were removed down to the original from the factory.
