MADE IN USA" Made of all iron with all iron wheels. It is about 48 inches tall. About 21 inches wide, and has a 16 inch cut. I have been told by a fellow ebayer that this mower originally came with a wood handle and therefore has a more modern. Not original replacement metal handle on it. It has a piece knocked out of one wheel but wheel is still solid. The wood roller has wear. One of the wheel gear drive cover plates is missing. One of the rubber handle grips has wear. Up for sale is the classic pre-1920 cast-iron push mower with a wooden handle. It still works but is probably a better decorative item than functional one. The defects are as follows: one wheel has a chip of cast-iron missing and generally has a coating of surface rust. And the wooden roller that sits at ground level behind the blades has some dry-rot. This item is too heavy to ship and is for pickup only. This was my grandmother's lawn mower and has been in my house which I purchased from her since the early 1920s.

VERY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! Large Cast Iron. Not cement or molded plastic black lawn jockey. One hand is extended to hold a lantern or a ring to hitch a horse. This style is called"Jocko" or the"Faithfull Groomsman" and it's legend states that they were originally ordered made by retired President George Washington to commemorate Jocko Gaines. An African-American who died guarding General Washington's horses before the Battle of Trenton. I just read that these statues were used to mark locations of the Underground Railroad. Today. The replicas are made of cement or polycast plastic. Only a guess, but I think this statue is at least 60- 70 years old, it may be much older. This tool is very old. Sometime back I found a web site that indicated that the tool was made in the early 1900's. Maybe around the 1920's or 1930's. I have not idea for sure as I could not find anything that gave detail facts. Made in the U.S.A. It is 43 long and can be extended to 45 1/2" The cutter/blade is 6" round. It does work. It appears to have the original finish. At the end of the handle there is a little wear(finish is worn off) and there is a very small area of damage at the very end of the handle. Large Antique Cast Iron Cherub Statue Planter Urn Sculpture Lawn & Garden
Here is a beautiful old large solid cast iron cherub garden statue. The statue is quite large and measures about 34" high. The base is 12- 13" in diameter, and this is a very heavy solid piece. My guess would be 70 lbs or more, but I have not weighed it. It is a lovely piece, a nude cherub child, draped with cloth, and holding a large urn/ planter. It has some areas of rust, but in general, is in great condition. It looks like there may have been repair on his one hand that is holding the urn, but it is difficult to tell as his knuckles may be bent- I have shown a picture of this area. This is a beatiful lawn or garden or lakefront piece, and would look stunning with a beautiful flower pot placed in the urn. I am listing this item as local pickup only- although we would be willing to drive 50- 100 miles to arrange a pick up.
