Vintage W L Davey Corp Cast Iron/Brass Hand Well Water Pump Farm Tool Primitive
Vintage pump marked W. L. Davey Corp. Rockford. Ill. This pump measures 20" tall, the base is 9" x 4 1/2" and the handle is about 18 1/2" long. The top spout part is threaded and is 1" the other one 1/2 way down is also threaded and is 3/4" The body part is brass as well as some of the other fittings, the rest is cast iron. The handle moves freely, there are no cracks, welds or breaks in the cast iron. There are various cast#s on a few of the parts, see pictures for details. Hasn't been tested or used in years, might need new"guts" or would be great for garden decor. Ships USPS Standard(economy) or Priority w/$5.00 handling which includes tracking and insurance.

Beautiful old Original Vintage Eclipse Fire Hydrant. Great Sculpture for yard. Garden, indoor home, business, or apartment display or odd art. It is original with as-found paint and is somewhat dirty. With some washing. It will look even better. Marked in the casting with" No. 3" ECLIPSE" Pat. and" St. Louis" No breaks or cracks. Approximately 26-1/2" tall. All original with 2 plugs complete with the dangling chains. This was originally much longer(several more feet longer) but the casting was broken off. So I cut the casting off at the ground level in the machine shop(to give it a widest base as possible) and ground ... morethe bottom very flat. It sits flat and very straight. Excellant size for display. Last photos shows underside where it has been ground flat. Still has the valve pipe stub within. That also has been cut off just above the base level. It has a small marking or letter or number on the bottom of the stand(although I can't read it) and the top is orange and the bottom cast iron portion appears to be painted in red although it is very worn and paint has a lot of oxidation and wear. Vintage Antique Large Green Tole Paint Metal Garden Flower Water Watering Can
This was discovered in a very old Thousand Islands camp estate and I immediately fell in love! This quaint early watering can is a large 16" tall with the hinged top handle in an upward position. It is 9" in diameter at the base and from the outer side handle to the end of the spout spans 16" The tole can is painted in a earthy green and has a portrayal of cat tails on both sides in wonderful detail. Even the shadows cast by the cat tails and leaves is depicted giving the painting a three dimensional look. Both handles and the top and bottom of the main portion of the can are accented with black pin striping. The top handle is hinged on each side to that it can be raised or laid down on the upper rim. The outer handle has a hollow grip and a thumb rest. The spout has a right angled end. This can has seen many. Many years of ... moreuse and all of it added to it's charm. There is dents, dings, pitting and rust. The rust is most notably on the very bottom(see pic) It will NOT hold water as there is a rather large hole in that bottom. The side and spout appear to be fine. Still, this is such an attractive old piece it would make a lovely ornament in a garden. Use it as a flower pot or set other objects in it for display! Original primitive watering cans this pretty are a rare find!

Vintage 1940's Galvanized REEVES Farm & Garden Milk Pail Dairy Feed Water Bucket
Hello! Thank you for joining us in order to preview an exceptionally scarce. Industrial Age" heavy duty, early American piece of farm and garden equipment; ready for decorative presentation or old time use. Offered here is an original(circa 1930-40) rugged, galvanized steel REEVES farm bucket, with the original durable bail handle. The early milking parlor pail maintains that strong quality, seen with REEVES products; having those heavy seams and tough rivets. The vintage farm, watering, feed or garden bucket appears to be roughly four gallons, with the steel bucket standing 10 1/2" height x 12 3/8" top diameter x 9 5/8" base diameter. The vintage REEVES galvanized bucket is in super solid, very good condition; being a presentation worthy farm compliment. The pail shows strong steel, holding liquids with no concerns. The ... moreinterior base of the bucket, embossed with the Reeves namesake shows a general degree of oxidation and pitting; while maintaining solid seams and rugged bottom. Vintage Mid-Century 1950's Water Garden Plant Pitcher.
Vintage mid-century 1950's white ceramic garden water pitcher. It has a very nice and stylish retro design to it. I had purshase it in a moving sale from a lady that inform me it belong to her grandmother's to water her plants back in the days. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall. Its in great condition for having this much age it has some wear. Little bit of chipping on pitcher spout lip and bottom base very small, tiny small scratches, need cleaning overall in good shape. Vintage Green Giant Water / Windmill Pump jack (Working )
This is a working pump jack. It's operation runs smooth with no catch's to it. Youy can see in the picks that there are long arms that are attached. However those are not included as part of the auction. only because I really am not wanting to pack them with the pump jack. Winner can have them as well if he likes but there will be a additional shipping cost that will be added but will be ship in a different box. That cost will be whatever at the desk cost is to ship them. Local pickup as well can be arranged if needed. This is a extremely heavy piece which weights 81 lbs. Thats not including the arms. Windmill Water Pump, Challenge Co., Hand Lever, Cast Iron, Vintage, Farm, 1492
Used. Windmill or Hand Operated Water Pump Housing, Lever and other components. Manufactured by the Challenge Company in Batavia, Illinois, probably in the 1920's but I'm not sure of an exact date. Nice looking cast iron pump housing. Lever and pivot. Base would allow anchoring for display(I'll include a"dummy, not original equipment" sucker rod to help position handle, not pictured) or use these good components for repair parts! The numbers"1492" are cast into the lower part of housing. These might be a model number. Not sure. Challenge Co, Batavia ILL is also cast into the housing. The number"18" is cast into the lever, the letter"C" on the connecting link and the number"919" on the parting rod guide. The pump housing with the pivot casting on top, measures about 45-1/2" ... morein overall height and the base is about 10-1/4" diameter. The handle is about 39" long as shown in the picture. There is evidence of possibly factory"as manufactured" repairs on the spigot. You can see small rectangular pieces of what appear to be cast iron inserted in a couple of spots(see pictures) There is also an old"weld repair" to the housing. Just above the end of the CHALLENGE CO/BATAVIA ILL script(see picture) There is a small"notch" in the base edge and other nicks and dings from use. I don't see any other repairs or cracks but without putting water to it, I don't know for sure. There is a"cast line" on the side of the base of the top casting that looks like a crack but when examined from the inside/end, there is no crack and it is evident that it is"as cast" This IS NOT a complete working pump. Other components not included in this auction would be required to make this item function as intended. Shipping note; these items will ship by UPS in two boxes due to the total weight.
